Anything videshi do has some mischief and tactics. Indians take decade to understand.
happy to see that fair weather batsman sachin is not included in the team. it means that finally there is an opener who will not play when only good conditions are there. finally it is possible that even in adverse conditions when the ball is doing something or when the target is stiff there will be an opener who will fight well...
good to see that the selection was made by somebody who has guts...

Sachin is the best in the world. But even the best run out of form. He has performed all over the world. This is just a one year team chosen on the basis of form. Kindly get your facts right before saying things about Sachin. Take his name with respect. I've read your posts. You seen to be a knowledgeable person but you are ruining your reputation by talking loose crap. Never do it.

Abhishek, dont waste your time replying to posts like these. By now you should have understood what a great arm chair expert Sunil Vaidya is. He knows more than the playing eleven. According to him, whatever matches we win, it is not because of Sachin. Whatever matches we lose, it is 100% because of Sachin. I request you not to worry about such messages. He has a lot of time at his disposal to write such crap.

By the way, when your friend Imran Khan said Sachin is a record creating person and not match winner, he never provided even 1 instance to prove his stance. See Akram's reply to Imran Khan on 21-Oct-03 when he did not agree with Imran and said "Sachin won the match for India against us at Centurion. I don't understand who is a match-winner if Sachin is not". He also said "There is no player who we can name as replacements for Sachin or Sourav Ganguly or Rahul Dravid". When you agree with Imran, I know it is tough for you to agree to Akram. I know you hate Sachin and are ready to cook up any possible story to malign his image. I know that any victory/defeat is a team work. I will not force you to accept my views like how you do. I know that when you hate someone so badly, it is very very hard to accept that your understanding is wrong.

Oh Wow.... I also came to know that our players missed the ICC awards stating a reason that "invitations came too late" (26-Aug-11 was too late??). Maybe there was no cash prize with the awards. That is why Dhoni and team gave it a miss.

He just want chances to fight people here by his stupid talking. It is better not to talk with him as others are saying now.Someone should not adapt or follow a dogs way.

Sunil it is a good strategy. Once abuse or comment anything then saying "I did not comment" or "it is not me,it is fake." But why anybody will believe you? If you like dhoni it is OK as it is you opinion but you should have enough courage to accept your past comments.

koni, imran khan has said sachin is record maker not a match winner. akram before the start of 3rd test against eng had said that he does not think sachin will complete his 100th 100 here as the ball will swing and do something but he will get it on oval which is more batsman friendly. in other words according to akram it was difficult for him to imagine that sachin will get a 100 in bowling friendly conditions. but he was sure that sachin has it in him to get a 100 when the pitch is friendly to the batsman. ponting had said after that famous win by india thanks to laxman-ishant partnership that he had feared this would happen. he had admitted that he was afraid not of sachin but of laxman who would take the match away from them and that happened and aus lost that test. ponting also knows after watching sachin for 20 years that he can do nothing in difficult conditions but is players like laxman who are dangerous in such situations.
koni like i told you before ask great players whom they would prefer to be on the strike when conditions are difficult/crunch and nobody will taken sachin's name. they will say things like he as great fitness and passion and enthusiasm for the game. see he is playing for the last 20 yrs. and still is as enthusiastic or energetic like a youngster. because thats all they can say in his praise. they dont want to lie and they cant tell the truth. so they will say politically correct things.

tell me one reason why I would want to watch a rugby game with the same passion when i watch cricket, when my team is not playing. we live and play cricket in India. we need to make it more stronger and not lose trust in it.
He is very good ODI batsman . But not very good captain . There was 280 on board with two very good spinner against the team who does not play spin well. Still he has not set attacking field and allowed singles and doubles which England was looking at that stage . If we could have attacked more in middle overs , we might have more run to defend or England have all out because they all knew that rain is near by the play.

People wham a lot about Sachin, but Dhoni has shown the true character as the driver, the captain, making India realize the worldcup win. In England they are playing with totally enjured and third level team, still they gave England tough time in ODI series, which despite of on the verge of loosing two ODIs, was declared winner by D/L method! Whatever praise u do for Dhoni's capability, it will be lesser. Country is lucky to have such grounded and tough man at the helm of the job! Made India see the world cup!!!

If he is not a good captain how come India became world champ after so many years? why 1st in ODI, why 1st in test, while Chennai superking won 2 out of three? why every pundit calls Dhoni as the best captain of the world? About which two spinners you are talking? Jadega is a part timer off break..its nothing great. Ashwani did nothing...and we all saw how good fielding was in the last match. You have got worst balling attack. U need bowlers. What he can do when you top order does not perform, ballers throw ball out of length. MPs two over costed the match...why then pointing to Dhoni...tell me which captain has got success record like him? Even luck favors those who show themselves bigger than luck!
