You are 100% right. There is no doubt 1 or 2games at least were decided off the field.

it was not fixed, it was indian conditions and indian flat pitch.

Indian batting cannot face what Angrez
has to offer if India bowlers at the nets and practice pitches in India
cannot produce the same (or better to win), be it pace (140-145km/hr)
speed, swing, bounce, fast top spin, etc. Panesar gave lot of practice
to Angrez and Swann learned a lot from bowlers like Afridi, panesar,
etc. RP could have been better than bowlers India tried. But now India
has given confidence to angrez in 1 dayers as well as we did in test by
not having right players in team from test 1.

If world cup was fixed, Australian, Pakistani and Sri Lankan cricketers should be suspended for betraying their nations.

Sri Lankan Decline
by tuleswar nath on Sep 08, 2011 04:53 PM  | Hide replies

The Sri Lankan decline had begun. Once Dilshan, Sangakkara and Jayawardene retires in the next 3 to 4 years, they will badly struggle.

Aussies the true #1
by rsjr on Sep 08, 2011 04:26 PM  | Hide replies

This is why Aussies have dominated cricket for the last 15 years except for some sissy one day tournaments and IPL related temptation where they went soft on India.
Agree, England is current #1 but Aussies will always be pushing for that #1 spot very soon.
One just has to look at how they dominate. Bowl teams out for less and score at lightning speed when they bat.

There is an Acharya running around these boards advising that the best test team is composed of IPL stars...

I guess Acharya cannot comprehend the limited overs cow-lasher Raina with the 42 ball pair in tests Raina.

This piece of work Acharya (half this half that mostly waste water) will then recommend you to "Grow up".

I was following test cricket when this Acharyas mom was cleaning his nose.
