why dont bcci make their own CRICKET gear
by D S on Sep 04, 2011 04:07 AM

bcci uses the gears sold for school boys. Rohit shiuld put plaster on his cracked finger and play .. Dont bail out.
and rohit should go back to play with school kid gear.

What people like nasir and akram say is double edged sword, some is good and some makes no sense.
for example what nasir says about senior players, i suppose two of them have some punch. two senior players , dravid and sehwag still have punch. dont know for how long.

Also not a surprise, Sunil uncle's claim that Sachin & Saurav blocked Gambhir's entry is as usual biased. Gambhir was given a chance to play against Bangladesh/South Africa in 2003. In 5 matches he scored 113 runs avg of 22.6, hit only a half century against Bangladesh. And our team in 2003 was going good, so why would Ganguly.Sachin retire because Vaidya wanted them to :)
When Gambhir returned in 2005, he smashed a century against Sri Lanka, and was retained in the team thereafter. And dont forget, Ganguly was still the captain then....

And Gambhir proved his mettle by ensuring excellent support to Sehwag and scoring on the field. The blurred vision problem was really unfortunate. Hope he gets over quickly.

actually it is not a bad idea to let parthiv keep for some time. at least dhoni will remain fresh...

though of course parthiv cannot hope to equal dhoni as a batsman keeper and captain...

parthiv can only be considered as a replacement of dhoni in case dhoni is injured or needs rest...nothing more than that...

dhoni is light years ahead of parthiv as regards his value to the indian team....

by Mahesh Margam on Sep 03, 2011 07:13 PM  | Hide replies

If he has been nursing for so long why did he not move out of this series and give his place for someone who is 100% fit? They'll never move nor will do good to the team... Never expected from a senior cricketer like sachin... it's all about the greed of money... shame on him and other cricketers who fake injury when it comes to represent nation...

Grandpa Vaidya, it is ur take from day-1 that we dont criticize anyone else. Also, i really dont bother whether u criticize Dhoni or not. But u r very much bothered that we should criticize Sachin. When u say we r doing injustice to all other 10 players by praising Sachin, it shows that u r biased. And u calling us biased is like the pot calling the kettle black!!

P O, The point is not about who is praised when they play well, the point is about criticizing players when they fail. you people criticise everybody else when they fail or when the let down the team in difficult situations or crunch situation or when the conditions favour bowlers, but do NOT criticize sachin when he fails or when the lets down the team in difficult situations or crunch situations or when the conditions favour bowlers.

P O, because of you people's bias towards Sachin you never critisize him. just think P O, about the times when you have abused other 10 players for whatever reasons, and then think when last you abused sachin for the same reasons for which you thought the other 10 players abuse worthy.

P O, till you dont give credit to other persons in the way you give it to sachin and tll the time when you do not abuse sachin for the same reasons that you abuse the other 10 players you are and will remain sachin fanatards. till that time you will be doing a great injustice to other 10 players who also want towin as much as sahcin and put in the ame efforts.

but i suppose people like you are necessary here to provide entertainment and comic relief...

Margam, u thinking skills are unmatched, sometimes beats Digvijay Singh! When Sachin knew he had an injury, he stepped down even before the match had started. According to people like u, when he plays well, it is because it is an easy batting track. when he does not play well, he is old and should retire. when he plays and all others fail, he plays for records. when he fails and others win the matches, he is a spent force..... You guys r so envious about him that you find fault with any action our cricketers do on the field......
