Indian performance in tests has been better than ODI's.
India has been number 1 in tests for almost 2 years.
Frankly , I don't think the indian team has the gas to put it across england this time.
they have been busy with IPL and then did't train due to the ODI wc euphoria and are paying a heavy price in england right now
usually the bowlers are the culprits, but this time the batsmen have failed as well.
The bowlers usually lean on the batsmen for support. This time they decided to take a piggyback ride on the batsmen. The batsmen faltered when presented with such a scenario

Sameer, batsman can at the best help any team to draw a test. if batsmen do well any team can either lose or at the most draw.
if the bowlers do well ONLY then can any team win...
SL batsmen once made nearly 1000 runs against us in an innings in a test. but the test ended in a draw as 20 indian wickets did not fall.
in mumbai ponting's aussie side took 100 runs lead in first innings. in 4th innings they had to chase a little above 100 runs. india won the test because our bowlers took 20 wickets...

tum khud kya ho pehle usko pehchano..... you very well aware of PCB and your cricketrs doing of present and past .... so dont try to speak about genuine players. i do agree BCCI is very much corrupt and most the its policies are destroying the talent of many young ones.... i also agree that dhoni is not at all required in the team..... he should sit out and do captancy from outside.... but dont pin-point on our INDIA you have no right brother to do so.....
