rahane

Rahane looks really good. He was playing the short balls really well, which is a great sign. Now I think Raina will have to get his technique right or else it would mean the end of his test career. He played some pulled shots. But they were more like trying to avoid the ball from coming closer to him than seeing and hitting the ball properly. Rahane showed glimpses of Dravid in him which is great sign because Dravid will have to retire in near future.

AGAIN THIS DISEASE OF WICKETS FALLING IN HEAP !
by damodaran mohan on Sep 01, 2011 05:19 PM  | Hide replies

So, India fail to open the winning account yet again. Some consolation that compared to Test white-wash the young side put up better fight and match was closer. The Indians seems to have got afflicted with the disease of losing wickets in heap. It is happening again and again. In Test matches, problem was the lack of good opening. Now after one of the best opening the Team got in England middle order caves in a heap followed by sudden collapse towards the end which actually cost the match. Why it is happening like this ?What is the coach D/Fletcher doing ? Are the players backing each other or not ? Another 15 runs and it would have been a grandest winning debut for Ajinkya Rahane. But that was not to be let down by the middle order. Rohit is proving to be a real Chinese puzzle. It was a bad day for Ashwin whose repeated over pitching didn't work and got smacked all around. Munaf was the best among the bowlers. Our bowlers especially Vinay didn't seem to learn from the English bowling that 'slow bowling' towards end holds the key. Most of the Indian wickets fell to slow bowling. And why was Raina not bowled ?

The T20 was match between EU and divided India due to selectors. Ireland , Dutch origin SA players, Germany (Keiswetter), Scotish, etc.

Angrez empire tactics on rise and rise

this time it is very comprehensive wins with desi foot soldier Bopara and Patel and with bigger guns on back.
Remind us of East India company in full swing at T20.

Desis like usual had selection based on patronage.
One more advantage of desi foot soldiers is that it unites ghora big guns as us and them much more easily.
Make desis sweat hard to prove that they are needed and that makes ghoras forget their differences.
Afterall, Bopra and Peitersen and ... were IPL T20 spies who have outshone desis from india.
Angrez tactics was in full swing with Irish Eion Morgan and Dutch origin SA players Peitersen and Dernbach
and more striking to cash gold. Utter domination of united guns and utter disgust of divided stick weilding
desis.

Not to deny extra agression by ghoras. I see this as biggest slap with umpire turning their head for almost
all appeals except one and even one ball in end over was given wide when it was not,
the ground made slippery by irrigation drip in excess that was blamed as weather issue and much more. Never
know which ball angrez got.

Remember during jaliawala bagh, when desis pushed indian soldiers with gun to get out, desi solder resorted to the use of fire since Dyer(an Irish recruit of angr) had authorized them.

Sad, these selectors and their players lobby is most horrible. Good to see Raina giving glimpse of good
timing and so is Rahane. Rohit did not know when to block-defend on front foot instead of hit-miss and not returning fast
enough while Kohli made misjudgement.

Oh, well, never know why RP was not tried over and above Vinay kumar. Praveen kumar is losing his shine and
running out of ideas especially with Peitersen. Ashwin pushed again by denying good T20 and 1 day players
like Pragyan and Rahul Sharma no chance even for practice match. So there is no contention for Ashwin.
Such brutal are Indian selector in blindness to patronize their favorites.

Fast spinners
by shambuswamy on Sep 01, 2011 04:51 PM

The trick for India to start winning again is to induct some more fast spinners like Vinay Kumar. Great discovery by the selectors. Bring back Venkatesh Prasad please and drop Munaf Patel. Then it will be a genuine all spin attack.

Way to go Srikkanth. Greta job!!!!

Even Bangladesh won't pick bowlers like Vinay Kumar, A Mithun and Venkatesh Prasad. How about yedurappa?

THIS IS THE TRUE FATE OF THE WORLD-CHAMPIONS (YOU CALL THEM STILL???) CAUGHT PANTS DOWN! COMPLETE WASH OUT NOW! WITHOUT BCCI'S AID, INDIA CAN'T EVEN WIN AGAINST IRELAND/BANGLADESH/BARMUDA EVEN AT THEIR HOME! THEY ARE SO SICK AND MALNUTRITIONED PLAYERS WHO ARE NOT EVEN FIT TO BECOME BALL-BOYS!

BOUGHT-UP AFFAIRS, CORPORATE-FIXING REGIMES CAN'T WORK ALWAYS! BCCI TRIES TO BUY MATCHES EVEN ABROAD, BUT MOST OF THE TIMES INDIAN TEAM SUFFERS TO EVEN ENACT AND PLAY A FIXED MATCH IN ALIEN CONDITIONS AND THEY LOSE! ONLY AT HOME, WHEN BCCI PLANS EVERYTHING, BECAUSE OF FAMILIARITY OF HOME CONDITIONS, THEY CAN ACT AND WIN MATCHES.

THIS IS THE SECRET OF BCCI AND THEIR TEAM!

Agreed. India cannot win against Ireland/Bermuda/Bangladesh. But Pakistan can never win against India be it war or sport. Pakistan will always taste defeat against India.

Send the malnourished indian players mutton biriyanis from across the border. They need to eat beef also instead of dhal and roti.Captain cool is trying his best to be cool after yet another humiliating defeat.
