YES, India&All poor countries MUST ban Test Cricket& 3 day macthes forever&Play ONLY T20 matches so that millions of man or woman hours are NOT lost watching monotonous Test cricket& 3 day macthes, etc. It is possible. This game of cricket lasting many days was invented by British looters like inventing british double agent mahatma gandhee& dirty trick of non-violence, to fool people of colonies& to make them lazy&morrrons FOREVER too by addciting them with all types of dirty tricks. BCCI& rulers are still behaving as slaves of Westerners, shame they have appointed white skinned westerners as coach, etc paying millions of dollars though we have excellent indian coaches like jimmy amarnath, madan lal,etc who can do better jobs than foreigners.BCCI& government must NOT allow more than 2 foreign players in each team&Give greater opportunity to indians.Shame that BCCI& rulers are behaving as slaves of westerners even now or are they getting huge kick-backs in the deals involving forein players, etc,Millions of cricket fans mustNOT allow our country to be looted again by foreigners&foreign agents.Hope millions of indians are listening& give justice to indian public& to national honour&pride too.

The Indian cricket team of 2011
by Prem Sethi on Sep 01, 2011 09:18 AM

The whole of the Indian team could not complete twenty overs. Shame and disgrace. There seems to be no planning at all and each batsman is trying to outdo the other in hitting atrocious shots. captain Dhoni is no exception. His miserable form continues.I think Dhoni needs rest as he is not only not leading the team but also commiting blunders in decision making.

Cricket is the winner

Its not England or India winning the game Its only the game of cricket which is really winning every time.Let us not cause stress to our players by causing negative comments.Let us show that we are matured and magnanimous and give space to recuperate and renounce.Only our players have that rare ingenuity and integrity of highest order.Live and let live, let them also taste victory.

Yeah,we are right. We can allow our team to lose continuously.

Right now 4-0 in test matches and 1-0 in T20.Let England win,i mean let Cricket win.

After all,it was a colonial game expanded by the British. We should be thankful to them and let win against us all the time...

Angrez empire tactics on rise and rise

this time it is very comprehensive wins with desi foot soldier Bopara and Patel and with bigger guns on back.
Remind us of East India company in full swing at T20.

Desis like usual had selection based on patronage.
One more advantage of desi foot soldiers is that it unites ghora big guns as us and them much more easily.
Make desis sweat hard to prove that they are needed. Afterall, Bopra and Peitersen and ... were T20 spies
who have outshone desis from india.
Angrez tactics was in full swing with Irish Eion Morgan and Dutch origin SA players Peitersen and Dernbach
and more striking to cash gold. Utter domination of united guns and utter disgust of divided stick weilding
desis.

Not to deny extra agression by ghoras. I see this as biggest slap with umpire turning their head for almost
all appeals except one and even one ball in end over was given wide when it was not,
the ground made slippery by irrigation drip in excess that was blamed as weather issue and much more. Never
know which ball angrez got.

Remember during jaliawala bagh, when desis pushed indian soldiers with gun to get out, desi solder resorted to
the use of fire since Dyer had authorized them.

Sad, these selectors and their players lobby is most horrible. Good to see Raina giving glimpse of good
timing and so is Rahane. Rohit did not know when to block-defend on front foot instead of hit-miss and not returning fast
enough while Kohli made misjudgement.

Oh, well,

Oh, well, never know why RP was not tried over and above Vinay kumar. Praveen kumar is losing his shine and
running out of ideas especially with Peitersen. Ashwin pushed again by denying good T20 and 1 players
like Pragyan and Rahul Sharma no chance for practice match even. So there is no contention for Ashwin.
Such brutal are Indian selector in blindness to patronize their favorites.

Fool! Stop looking at things with jaundiced eyes and remove your prejudices from your mind! It is not the Desi cricketers alone who helped England win the first match! It was the combined effort of all, and particularly of Morgan! Get a life, you loser! And use the word "British" or "Englishmen". Your use of the term "Angrez" smacks of hypocrisy and ignorance! If you are so full of hatred for everything English, STOP BLOGGING IN ENGLISH!

They could have won this one if ..
by Arv Singh on Sep 01, 2011 06:19 AM  | Hide replies

1. Dravid didnt bat that slow ... he saved some blushes with three sixers (enjoyed them!)

2. Kohli and Rohit played to a plan
(aimless batting)
3. Tailenders showed some spine (shameful that Indian team could not even complete 20 overs)

4. Ashwin bowled more economically (9.25 runs per over and no wicket and 18 runs in the first over?)

5. Rohit Sharma did not bowl at all (16 runs in obne over?)

6. Vinay Kumar did not bowl at the end (What was the logic in giving last over to the least experienced bowler?)

Now, I was impressed by Rahane, Dravid's three sixers, Raina, and bowling by Munaf and Kohli.

Why is BCCI shipping Jadeja who has failed miserable after a long run? Who is coming next - Agarkar, Uthappa, Mukund, and Powar?

I missed Yuvraj, Yusuf Pathan, Harbhajan, and Zaheer. The results would have been different if these four were in the team.

Batting by Yuvraj or Yusuf for just two overs could have changed the scene totally.

Harbhajan has chipped in with useful runs in the end and he has always been economical in T20 and ODIs.

Yuvraj would have also contributed with his spin bowling and Zaheer in place of rookie Vinay Kumar could have made a different bowling attack.

... I know some of the reader may not agree but this is my opinion.

I agree with all the points, but would like to tell that Vinay Kumar bowled well, it was to England's luck that Samit PAtel who was struggling managed to edge two deliveries bowled in the blockhole , both of which went to the boundaries in the last over..so no point in blaming Vinay..he did his job......

apart from bad selection of India team..
angrez played well and cheated as well with selective drip irrigation on the ground that
made indian fielder slip around.

parthiv patel? when we have saha who is excellent fielder and can hit well.

Vinay kumar when we have RP

Ashwin when we have Rahul or Pragyan

Kohli could have judged better, this is no flat wicket.

Rohit need to learn from angrez when to block on front foot instead of hit and miss.
