If a player gets in the indian team 11, it has to be for a good reason and so to drop him should also warrant a good reason.
To drop someone after judging by just one performance is really in-explicable.

I still remember seeing that inning he played, in which he didn't score much, came during the later stages. I was so hoping he would ... seemed a good potential wicket keeper batsman.
I remember that big ranji partnership mentioned above against Delhi which almost blew the fuse of manoj prabhakar....

I totally agree with you. In that innnings against South Africa, when all others appeared so scared, he looked so confident and elegance personified. If any of these selectors had seen it, and not been dumb to ignore it, we wouldn't have lost such a wonderful wicket-keeper/ batsman from representing us at the international level. Dharmani would've been the Dhoni we so love now atleast a decade prior. Which other indian wicket-keeper has scored a 300 score in Ranji and has a 50 aggregate? Shame on our then selectors!!!
