NOBODY else EVER did. this line of everybody switching off their tvs is just a myth like sachin is the best batsman in the world. did you check every household to see whether that is true? tomorrow someone else might take sachin's place for whom peopel would 'switch off their tv sets once he got out' before sachin the same line was said about gavaskar. it is all nonsense. if you really believe that then you must agree that nobody ever saw any indian wins when sachin was playing, because he rarely if ever was there till the end. only a few times maybe. what about the rest of the times? if you what you claim is true then it means that you did not watch or 2011 odi WC win. because sachin was out long before we won the final match.    Forward   |   Report abuse

I equally like Sunil Vaidya. Both of them are the future of Indian cricket (since it is sinking, Vaidya & Dhoni are best to represent it and help it go down further). Also since we want youngsters in the team, I request Sunil Vaidya to advise his client/uncle/boss Dhoni to give total rest to Sachin, Laxman & Dravid and in the process, himself retire from cricket overseas so that he can make way for a better wicket keeper and batsman (overseas). Dhoni's scores have come against weak teams and on all flat tracks. Let him continue playing in Indian pitches so that winning rate for India will be good. He can also take credit for very critical decisions like sneezing or yawning at the right time/dropping a not-so-important catch/etc. He need not search for new reasons for failure like crowd noise, etc.    Forward   |   Report abuse

So, let me not make statements just for the fun of it..... Just because I am a fan of Sachin, Sunil calls me a fantard and all such BS whereas he is the real fantard of Dhoni and credits even the performance of youngsters saying Dhoni backed them, Dhoni supported them, etc. And for Sunil Vaidya, I dont bother to give him respect because he does not deserve it.
