This may sound out of place. With so many knowledgable people around, I may get the answer to my query.
What is Pujara doing right now? He was supposedly injured and missed the WI Test tour. He was being nurtured as the replacement for "The Wall" in the test team. Any news about him? Will he make it to the Oz tour, with so much of competition around?
One injury can ruin the careers of these players - Rohit Sharma is another chap who may find it very difficult to get into the team now.
I am sure Viru, Yuvi, Zaks, Ishant also will be feeling the heat already.

Checked in cricinfo. He hasn't played any match since May 2011, probably he is still injured.
The author is quite fond to be "modest". In the 3 slide article he mentions "modest total of 220" 3 times. In the last slide this appears twice in successive lines.

patel has been given enough opportunities, but could not utilize. Now time to test others like Manoj Tiwari is an apt choice..

Agree.. There is no place for Patel in playing XI after return of Veeru & Sachin and we already have a best wicket keeper batsman in the world in form of Dhoni..
for the last ODI and should try to Rahul and Tiwari in place of Patel and rest to PK... and not necessary to do so many changes, to concentrate on 5-0 whitewash..

Forget OLD-MAN dravvid in any format. He is a handicap with his feet stuck to the ground when fielding. Anyone of the younger players will do better if they are also asured of place in 3 series even if they dont score or field

Dravid is already retired from ODI and my dear there is no player in India to took his place in Test cricket...
Did we lose the extra point that we would have got had we finished within 40 overs? I think, thats wat Kohli was talking to Dhoni abt in the 40th over.

There is no reason to get extra point here, because this is a onedays series between two countires...
should send Yadav, Aravind, Mithun and Varun to Australia or England to train on the pitches there. It was heartening to see Umesh and Varun polishing off the tailenders of opposite team in ongoing ODIs. Sadly their seniors failed to do so in the past. These guys should be used in turn to give them good rest and keep them for long. P.K. and Vinay also should be considered for rotation.

Now we have a good bunch of fast & spin bowlers in form of Umesh, Varun, Zaheer, PK, Ashwin, Bhajji, Rahul & two good all-rounders in form of Jadeja & Yusuf... We should rotate and provide them good experience on foreign pitches for better future.
