India were the last team among the 9 test playing nations at that time to post a score of 300. India scored a score of 300 plus for the first time in April 1996 vs Pakistan. Even Zimbabwe scored a score of 300 plus in 1992 World Cup. So 65 300s have come in just 15 years.

roughly once in 4 matches. considering India averages 40 IDIs a year, thats once every 10 matches.

We need to find quality pace bowlers; that has been the issue for decades.

if we have scored 300 runs so many times means OTHER countries have the issue of finding quality pace bowlers for decades...

in the past 9 odis against england we have made 300 runs 4 times. so it is england who have a big problem/issue about finding quality pace bowlers...

The table should show the total number of ODI mathes palayed against all countries. That would give the % of 300 scores of each team- a better way of correlation

sivakumar:Your sggestion is very appropriate. There cannot be any absolute measuring factor in drawing comparison conclusions
