Revenge should be a word to be removed from dictum today. You are No.5 team and play like underdogs, don’t try too much to do too little. Stick to your basics very strongly and do not let laziness creep in. Look to the opponent into their eyes and play, then only you can win. Remembering the past doesn’t help, revenge thought itself shows you are really defeated earlier. It all happens in the game. Return the dish / curry in the same cup you have received.

Dear Maddy brother....... We should be wishing the Indian team for a win. I dont understand what prompts you to support the English and wish ill for our side?
Even after dropping Harbhajan Singh, Indian bowling has not improved. Like Bhajji, Ashwin is also an ordinary bowler who can not spin the ball. Selectors should have brought back Amit Mishra & Pragyan Oza two talented spinners to add some strength. Only Praveen Kumar is an experienced pacer in the squad. It is difficult to defend even 300 plus runs with this weak Indian bowling attack. Peiterson has added strength to English batting.

Ashwin is more successful then ohja/mishra and by the way dont call praveen as pacer! But Agreed our bowling is terribly weak in both spin and medium pace department.

Friday & Nayak: Though I have nothing against Ashwin/Mishra, I somehow feel that Ojha could have been given a few chances. And I agree with Friday in saying Praveen is not a pacer. We unfortunately do not have any pacer. Varun Aaron bowls at avg speed of 140 and top speed of 147 or so. But we did not get a chance to see him bowl in England. And as far as I understand, fast bowling is of no use if there is no line and length. Even in the past we have seen people like Pathan, Ishant etc whose speeds have dropped after a few matches. So, i still have some apprehensions on our bowling dept.
When it ultimately depends on which country it is being played? I mean only the home team shall win, that's very bad. In that case we shall never know which team is better, it will all depend on the pitch! What a shame. The results are so much predicted. By the same logic we can say that India won the world cup because it took place in India! I don't want to be part of this.

Are you insane? This is the first time any country won world cup or their home turf in 36 years of world cup history. Check your knowledge before posting some BS.

Alladi saab, i am surprised that the pitch has so much intelligence that it favours the opposition team.....
Jokes apart, it is only the 4th ODI played in this ground. Please dont term it a "panauti" so soon.
