england's rise to the top is more because india fell drastically otherwise things would be different if evenly matched..so england should not go overboard abt their rise

Hmmmm. Same way Aussies were never really #1 either. Others were poor. Else if others were stronger, Aussies would have lost more than 11 out of 96 matches when Gilly played.

england have reached the top of anything in cricket after the longest time.. so the trumpeting is fine.. but first let them win something major so that it makes more sense

India's fall was also not overnight. It took us full 5 months from April start to September end Dont know whether to :) or :(

My friend Varun, I am not a coward to :( when India wins the match, even if Dhoni scores all the runs and takes all wickets and all catches.....! An Indian win is all I ask for, be it from anyone, or everyone....!

Some great advice from the great man. When you are No.1 you have to think you are No.2 and keep working and try to improve with every game.
I have lots of respect for our Indian test team but they took things very easily during the England tour and got massacred ruthlessly.
I think its in Indian mindset to become careless and relax after a while.
