to see you dropped. You don't deserve a place in the team anymore..

And now that bookie brought up Bhajji's name as well..

Why should he not be in the team?
by Arv Singh on Oct 14, 2011 01:28 AM  | Hide replies

Harbhajan delivers what was asked of him ... First he led the Mumbai Indians to CLT20 XI glory and now he led Indian Green team to Challenger Cup Tournament championship. So what do Bhajji's detractors have to say now?

Harbhajan had a depleted MI side with six of their top players injured. He takes a team with young players and wins the CLT20 XI. His performance was spot on too .. scalping Gayle, Kohli, and Vettori in the finals.

Now he leads the India Green team to lift the Challenger Cup. The selectors had played an interesting card and given him the weakest of all four teams. Only recognized player in his team were Uthappa, Kaif, and Mithun. The Red team included players like Dhawan, Rayadu, Pathan, Wridhiman Saha, Chawla, Pankaj, Mukund, and Unadkat. The other teams also had better players.

His own performance speaks for itself. He scored 49 Not Out and then took three wickets with figures of 10-0-37-3-3.7.

So, who did not want him in the Indian team? and why? Was your opinion based on his performance or was it biased because of your hatred for his community? Please reply with sensible explanation ... abusive jabbering will only prove my point.

My opinion is purely based on Bhajji's performance. I have nothing against any community as they all're Indian for me.

But you obviously are being biased and can't see anything bad in Bhajji because he is from your community... SHAME

Harbhajan's bowling peformance in the previous game

Harbhajan Singh 4 0 32 0 (8.00)

He was the worst bowler of the match, a typical Harbhajan like performace. By the way, he scored briliant 0 run as well.

By the way, only kids will talk about community and all..

ARVSingh: Community etc apart, analyzing his performances, he has been best in India/SL/SA/WI/ENG&NZ. The only place he has yet to be his best is in Australia. I feel that winning T20 & challenger cup is not the best way to determine his performance. It is better that he gets to play some more domestic games so that he becomes the old Bhajji and in that process, youngsters will also be given a chance in the team. With competition from youngsters, his performance will also improve. If by chance he is injured, we will have a young bowler handy.... Please give me your opinion on this.

arav paji, bhajji has been made a scapegoat...but it is true for now he needs some rest before gets inducted to national team.

bhajji has always been a valueable performer, but his performance in the national side had been slippin so he's out. well, actually 85% of our squad is also like that, but they have to start from soemwhere...so bhajji gets the axe

Bhajji is strong player but situations have changed. The opposite team (Eng. Aust.) have all his recordings to understand and counter his spin. What is needed by Bhajji is to bring variations (instead of typical and similiar). There is time for him to come back, he can take rest/rejuvinate himself and come back strongly like Aussi players.

Dear Bhaaji (Bhajji)

I don't think that you should either be surprised or hurt for being dropped from the national team. Your record with the ball over the last 3 years would not get you a place even in teams playing gully cricket on the streets of India. I suggest that you go back to your basics and relearn certain spin bowling techniques like flight, loop, spin, turn, bounce, beating the batsmen in the air etc. which you have sadly forgotten.
