he has used a good word infact :-) ....atleast we wont allow the kat00@s to go beyond our population....just look at Kerala demography changes in last 20 yrs ...
...Though he went wicketless in the first innings, but smashed a 38-ball 52 in Rest of India's essay, he polished off the tail in the second, finishing with figures of 2-49...."
I think we should not credit a bowler for his batting efforts unless he has quite proved himself in the bowling front first. This has been the curse of Indian bowling for a long time now - ever since the days of Ravi Shastri, Kirti Azad etc and more recently Harbajan. With the exception of Kumble and Kapil Dev, we never had match winning bowlers for the same reason. Bowlers dilute their focus and stay in team batting on batsmen friendly tracks. Its another issue to play rearguard or match saving innings when all hell breaks loose in a one off situation, but for bowlers to claim that they are one amongst specialist batsmen is not something Indian cricket needs.. we need those who perform their assigned role exceedingly well and not don other hats frequently and confuse everyone....We do not need a team that bats till No 9 or 10, if batsmen fail then do something there instead of asking bowlers to bat around.....
Dear Rahul - Congratulations on being part of ODI series. Every 2 days, your interview is published. I think you should focus on game rather than addressing media. I will give you an example where players spoke in media and they could not achieve it. Viru - Said it's easy to score 200 in ODI. After that he was out of form for one and half year. Bhajji - He said he has developed magic ball (doosra) and it took 2 years to see first doosra bowled by him
Focus on cricket dear, media can be addressed later

Can't agree more with u.This is the problem with young cricketers who wants to be in news even before doing anything worth mentioning.he is playing against a side that has taken daylight out of his seniors who will probably never recover from the thrashing of a lifetime.
He might have got selected, but the million dollar question is, will he play any match in the coming series. Our selectors and one Mr.MSD have the habit of picking new bowlers but just let them carry drinks bottles. So let us wait and watch. Honestly I want this sharma guy to play along with Ashwin. They appear to be the two most intelligent, thinking and attacking spinners in India today.

Dear Ashok when a player is selected in the team and again selected for playing eleven should be given ample chances to prove himself. It's not good that a player is selected and played in one match and dropped immediately after that. I also feel that Dhoni should have played Varun Aron in England but other guys who had been selected were equally deserving and were given chances to prove themselves before being dropped. constant chop and change won't help but when you have a winning captain he seems to do no wrong. as soon as he starts losing that we find all types of faults with him.It is an integral part of human nature and we are no different.
