There is nothing wrong to blame the BCCI. It is exactly correct to do that. BCCI has used its strenght and money power to suppress ICL and SL cricket league. They even tried to dominate the ICC and Auss board
during the Bhajji-symo monkeygate. I am not supporting symonds or going against Bhajji. But can we really say that Bhajji is a good cricketer who doesn't abuse players?
Take another example, this Champions 20/20 league where top teams from the world are supposed to compete. Past 2yrs 3 tems from Indian league have participated whereas teams
from other countries only 2 max. This year they even went further, 3 teams directly qualified and 1 had to go qualifying round. Whereas for top team like SL and New Zealand(only 1) had to go through qualification and unfortunately they were eliminated.
So in the coming years, more Indian league teams will play for CHampions League and other country teams will have to go for qualification round. This is pathetic, where BCCI uses its money clout to
add more Indian teams just bcoz the sport is popular here. Also they have kept on craming cricket throughout the year, which is like an overdose.

BCCI is very reactive, they acted on DRS after damage was done
by D S on Oct 10, 2011 06:43 PM  | Hide replies

ODI and test rules changed by ICC before angrez team visit to India.

all rules are made by ghoras to benefit ghoras. fullstop. be it hockey or cricket. BCCI is useless body. ICC appoints title and formal heads with no real powers and their powers are there till they support ghora cause and goals.

Why not schedule the games for the day and refuse to agree with certain rules.

Babua, did you not read this.

Yassen Mohamed,

understand someone posted anti-SI messages.

you know that CSK lost to MI when Dhoni fumbled twice on purpose to make them win in bhajji first outing with CSK.

bhajji praised CSK as the best team to recognize this.

Harbhajan named 'Sikh Sportsperson of the Year' by some videshi body.

there are 5 world sikh bodies in India, they better give award.

But angrez and videshi want to exert indirect control by their own religion based bodies.

It would be much better to get Khasla king order award from canada than wanting to receive Member of British empire [slave] award.

NEVER EVER THINK OF SENDING OUR PLAYERS TO THE COUNTRY WHICH IS INFESTED BY TERRORISTS.
LANKANS DID THAT MISTAKE & FORTUNATELY SURVIVED THE ATTACK.
WHAT IS GUARANTEE THAT NEXT TIME WHOLE OF HOTEL BUILDING WILL NOT BE BLOWN AWAY?

IF WE HAVE A SHED OF SELF RESPECT LEFT, THEN WE SHOULD NOT HIRE ANYBODY FROM A COUNTRY, WHICH IS BACK STABBING US. EVEN THEIR PLAYERS ARE ALSO FOLLOWING THE LINE - LIKE SHOAIB AKHTAR.

Plough back funds for the good of cricket.
by malapaka seshasai on Oct 10, 2011 12:08 PM

While it is heartening to note that the BCCI is investing funds earned by it into the game of cricket and its development, I have to state that a part of these funds may be given to local bodies for the payment to its local umpires and grounds men. Umpires have taken to umpiring as a proffession and are losing on loss of pay on the day of umpiring. If these umpires are compensated for their lost salary at their office we may in probbability have a good team of umpires.
