Dhoni under Shani Dasha
by Sreekumar Krishnapillai on Oct 13, 2011 09:20 PM

Dhoni's SHANI DASHA has started about a month before India's tour to England. Looks like, It's going to be a bitter bitter phase for him. He might even lose his captaincy. SHANI is a graha that rewards only persistent persistent hardwork and HUMILITY. Keep in mind that, with Dhoni at the helm, except for the hard working and HUMBLE Dravid, all other Indian players bit the dust.

The BCCI is pathetic
by ajay bhathire on Oct 05, 2011 07:23 PM

it has been an overdose of cricket till now for the players as well as the viewers. The world cup, ipl a week later, then WI tour and Eng tour within span of few days. THe BCCI are cashing the money based on the popularity of the game in India, by organising more tours and cricket. If u see the other top countries, like aus, eng, SA, kiwis they play limited no of cricket in a year and their boards plan their tours/series effectively. Indian tour are crammed with series throurghout the year. SO naturally some ppoint or other there would be fatigue/injury factors which will def hamper the teams performance. This factors as well as overdose of cricket will lead to decline of cricket popularity in India gradually.

Flemming also started blaming fatigue. This is a good excuse people have nowadays. Before CLT20 started, he said he does not expect anything from Indian cricketers. NOw he is telling fatigue. He should blame adaptability only. Also for people like Dhoni and Raina, if you are so tired, opt to sit out of matches. Nobody is forcing you to play except your fans and the heavy cash that you guys receive as payment for each T20 series.

Injustice
by Rajiv Kumar on Oct 05, 2011 04:39 PM  | Hide replies

Dhoni is very biased towards old players. The best times for Sachin/Laxman/Zaheer/Sehwag are over. Todays players are more dedicated to win matches. Still, Dhoni prefers these people. Looking the way India won in West Indies, it was no way a competitive team. Also Dhoni does a lot of dive and rule politics in the team. He snatched captaincy from Yuvraj and brought internal rivalry in the team, even with Sehwag. Yuvraj was the person who was responsible for Indias world cup win. It is sick how Dhoni behaved with him earlier. He is paying for all the misdeeds he did earlier.
He has all explanations ready by the time he comes for the press conference.

I do not need your opinion on how sick i am.first think how sick you are.As much as i like Dhoni, first is indian cricket, next is Dhoni.Until all the above mention players are thrown out by Dhoni India cannot win games. You maybe a mouth piece for Dhoni,it is not my concern. It is evident by the way you said it is good for CSK to lose just to give rest for Dhoni and Raina. If your state lost you would not be telling this. The whole country feels sick because of crazy fans like you.

i never said it is good for csk to lose just to give rest for dhoni. i am a dhoni fan and a csk fan and would have liked if dhoni and csk had won. but csk lost. so thats that. i am saying look at the positive side. csk lost and that fact cannot be changed. so ok as a csk fan you are upset that csk did not win. but dhoni is just looking at the half full glass not half empty glass. he is trying to look at what good has come out of the bad that happened. thats all. thats all he meant. he is feeling as bad about it as you. but he is not the one to show emotions openly. for your info i consider csk as my state as my favourite player is in it.

These so called diplomatic statements will not undo the nonsence you spoke.Forget half glass theory.I dont bother about your view on that.First be loyal to your country, next to your favourite player. If you considered CSK as your team you would not be writing something like that.

dhoni's comments
by Sunil Vaidya on Oct 05, 2011 03:05 PM  | Hide replies

i hear that dhoni said that the loss is a blessing in disguise because it gave time to prepare for upcoming odis...

now i wonder how people are going to twist that comment....

some people will as usual say he is making excuses while some people will see that he has left the CL 20 loss behind (like always he is as detached with the losses as detached he is with the wins) and as usual is walking ahead in the present looking forward to new challenges letting go of the past...

win or loss- dhoni as a player is always a looser/choker & only know how to give excuses to save his captaincy/ass.
A true politician who will never leave captaincy unless kicked out

Dhoni's luck is running out. Magic is over.
After losing to England 4-0 in Tests, 3-0 in ODI & 1-0 in T20. Poorly managed CSK fails to make semis.

What about Vijay, Badrinath, Saha......how much cricket they have played to get fatigue and tired. Why are they still retained match after match with ZERO performance. Look CSK Management, if you want to win and be a champion, throw out players who are not performing, there are hundereds of players waiting to take the place, provided if CSK do not 'SEE CASTE AND CREED" IN SELECTING PLAYERS, ONLY THEIR PERFORMANCE SHOULD MATTER AND NOT CASTE AND CREED......

What a foolish comment. Not even 1 % relative. Vijay,Badrinath,Saha are not big hitters like Dhoni, Raina or Morkel..Keep you caste issue out, while commenting on a private team. They can do whatever they want.

Dhon- a bih hitter- what a joke.
Dhoni strike rate in t-20 international is pathetic 105- lowset among all international players.
His slow inning & uncapibility to strike the ball from start caused India early exit in 2009/2010 T-20 wcup , CSK early exit in CL T-20 & many loss in IPL matches.
Big hitter in CSK is morkel, bravo, raina & vijay.
Dhoni is only on luck & manipulation.
His records in test & t-20 intnl is pathetic.
In ODI his runs all manipulated on flat track, no preesure & against weak bowler

Dear Mr Srinivasan,

Congrats for being elected as the President of BCCI. Now please look into the affairs of the Indian Cricket. We all know that we had won the World Cup but we need to maintain its Standard of being the World Champion. Please provide some rest to M.S.Dhoni and some other key members otherwise people will start to talk aout your position in the BCCI.
Please take some urgent steps..
