:-). The ONLY captain to have such a STEEP fall too... ;-) No one in the whole world came from WC winner to #5 within a month. No one came from #1 in tests straight through a 0-4 Whitewash on to #3 either. This surely is a WORLD RECORD. ;-)
Dhoni's story is similar to Himesh Reshammiya success story which was largely based on Luck and less on talent. There was a time when no matter what every music of his was a hit. In his way to the top he sidelined all the singers forgetting that he was a music director and sanged all his songs as well. The lady luck was smiling on him and he tought to cash on it big time by even acting in films. Suddenly the luck ran out and we all know that one time sensation is now licking dust. Don’t blame Dhoni as he is still doing the same thing what he was doing earlier but the only thing which is not with him now is the LUCK factor.

Dhoni is getting punished for his act of side linig TN players like Balaji,Aniruddha,dinesh etc & for giving opprtunity to north players saha,raina,jagati etc.(Badri,MuraliVijay,Dinesh,Ashwin,Mukund in Indian team) Media hyped him like anything (midas touch,mr. cool ) etc. he is most incompetent fellow as captain/keeper/batsmen.See his records in cricinfo. Till now he rides on his luck & contribution from famed four & Zaheerthat too in INDIA only. once it is not there he is a hapless fellow who fell in to the D gaang tentacles like Azhaar. So you can expect miracles one day & pitfall another day ( win & abysmal loss) in future. So better not watch cricket.

After BCCI took stern action against Mohammed Azharuddin and Company, no Inida player has been involved in match fixing. England tour did not produce a satisfactory outcome because all the best players were missing becuase of injury. England defeated a second or third string Indian side.
