Why do we stick to this issue ?
by Noshir Daruwala on Oct 03, 2011 01:10 AM  | Hide replies

If Shoeib thinks Sachin was afraid of his bowling, so let him think so. We cant change nybodys views, especially Pakis. He was a great bowler and savage.

Whenever a Paki. talks ( its media or celb or a person ) the theme is he is brave and we are afraid of them. Their papers used to draw KDev kneeling before Kali-mata in a temple and beg her to cancel the Pak. trip as he was afraid of Imran ,Waqur,Wasim...all 3 were smacked by Sachin,Sehwag,Dravid,Dhoni and Yuvi and Azher...so whats the problem...

Let them bark.

Media use this topic and Diggi Raja etc...and we get drawn into it.

Shahid was great and then couldnt boom boom, can we say he was afraid.

The best way to deal with Pakis and Shoeibs is to be shameless like them, even if Indian muslims side them and loud them...we can silence them as we have have done multiple times.

JUST DISREGARD HIM...DONT PURCHASE HIS BOOK...A NATION, A BUNCH OF PLAYERS NOT RESPECTED BY ANYONE IS VYING FOR RECOGNITION.

IGNOR THEM BROTHERS.

Against the 3 greatest fast bowlers of his era, whom he faced in more than one Test series, McGrath, Donald and Akram, Sachin has scored 1719 Test runs at a modest average of 34.3 (compared to his career average of 56).

In ODIs too his record is Terrible against These Three Bowlers. He Played 76 Matches altogether where Wasim Mcgrawth and Donald Play with average of 31 and Only 2 Centuries(Which were in Indian Pitches).

34.3 is modest compared to himself. Even Bradman played modestly in Bodyline series. :-)

Here again we are talking greatness of Sachin (who dont need a praise) we should be admiring Shoib that he made the world's best batsman fear, the problem with Indians is that we can not apprciate anyone else?

We are lucky to see Sachin play!
by Satish on Oct 02, 2011 04:52 PM  | Hide replies

We cricket fans are lucky to have born in this era where we could able to see Sachin Tenulkar playing live in front of us. Some of his great deeds on cricket fields given below.

1) Heling India draw a critical test match against Pak in Pak when he is just 16 years.

2)Bowling the last over in Hero Cup final where windies required 6 runs to win, he gave just 3 runs and hepled India win the cup.

3)He is the highest run getter in 1996, 2003 world cups and second highest run getter in 2011 world cup among all the countries who played tehse world cups.

4) Batting heroically in a test match against Engalnd in 2008 at Chennai to win the test chasing about 350 runs in the last innings.

5) Batting majestically in 2003 world cup match against Pak scoring 93 runs and helping India win the match.

6)Batting magnificiently in Sharjah in 1998 against Australia to win the cup there.

7)Batting brillaintly in Australia against Australia in 2008 where his 2 great innings helped India win the cup.

8) Out of his 48 ODI centuries India won 34 times.

9) Out of his 51 test centuries India won 20 times and 20 are draws only 11 times India lost.

Shall we need to say more.. Let us enjoy his game rather than entering into unnecessary arguments!!

plz understand. Sachin is a batting legend and these 3 are bowling legends. If sachin would have scored >56, then they will not be called as bowling legends.

1 run from Mc Grath still equates to 1 run and not 10.

Successful people are those who make use of the weakest links of the opponent.
