Both Umesh and Varun should play all the tests in Australia. In fact it would be also good if either of them open the bowling along with Zak (if fit for the tour).
I agree with the with your observation of the nature of his commentry I am sick of Rvai shastry hyperbole and Gavaskers professorial drab commentry Discussion about Sachin not required We are all are waiting for his retirement so that talented youngsters can be accomodated .If Tendulkar is to return Rohit or Raina will have to sit on bench .It is grossly unjust .Sachin playing in the team is irrelevent for the teams victory that we have seen time and time again .There is no need to bring in the topic

I think I Pathan should have been included - as a replacement for Praveen Kumar. I dont understand the logic of naming Mithun as the replacement. Has he been named as the replacement for the Aus tour too? or just the WI odis? Pathan is doing well in Ranji. Even in the ongoing match against Delhi of the 6 wickets 5 are Pathan's. I think he deserves a come back. What do you think Harsha? I will not be able to be awake for the chat so :-)

The purpose of playing cricket is an stake of Patriotism. All players are just tools to play their part.
We & the press think just about losing or winning while considering on individual milestones all these things are rubbish. It's just a masala to make the flavour so more people are interested in their news.
In India there is lot of players who can bowl at speed 160 kmph with line on stump but these players r not found in big cities .selector should go small town or village
