The team looks good. The selectors have given preference to the current form of the players, which is a good sign. Maybe Parthiv would have been unlucky to have missed out. Only question mark is on Zaheer's fitness. He has not played any match so far after his injury. So his form and match fitness are the only areas of concern. They have to plan for a backup for him in case he breaks down before or during the series.

Shaha is only included to carry the drinks. If Parthiv would have selected he would be doing the same job. I think Parthiv is lucky, that he do not have to do this job
India is going to lose badly in Australia without Harbhajan. A vicious campaign against Harbhajan has led to his outster. Yuvraj who was supporting Harbhajan's inclusion in the team has also been shown the door. This shows deep rooted conspiracy against Harbhajan Singh because he is a Singh.

OK. Any other "prediction"? Will Dhoni complete 33 centuries before 27th March 2012?

Boss, pls look at Bhajji's form before posting these comments. What notable has he done in the last couple of years since Kumble's retirement? He was supposed to take over no 1 spinner mantle from Kumble. He is nowhere close to him in terms of class and wicket taking abilities. Plus Ashwin and Ojha have answered the call brilliantly. Selectors have taken a sensible decision. Bhajji's record in Aus is also not encouraging at all. He must do well in domestic circuit and come back purely on ability and not on past reputation of just one 2001 series.

Yeah you might think so but Bhajji lacklustre performances in recent games was the root cause of his ouster from the team.

I may add that we in India would not get Channel 9 coverage and superb commentary as Espn will take their own horrible bunch of harsha sunny wilkins ravi saurav and they make cricket watching terrible with their absolutely one sided comments
