Nobody is interested to win the match and that is the reason it gone to draw. Take first Shewag thrown the wicket. Sachin played irresponsible shot, Laxman taken it lightly. Kohrli tried his best, but in vain.

We have already won the series and hence they have played like this. Now see the Australia tour and how we are going to play their. Sachin should announce retire now and allow young players to play their game

It wasnt a crunch situation when Tendulkar was playing. Did you even watch the match ?
Actually Sehwag, Tendulkar & Dravid were all done in by the uneven bounce in a space of 5 overs. The pitch did behave oddly.
Only after Dravid, did it become a crunch situation where batsmen had to be very careful

The way Sachin is getting out
by PRADEEP JOSHEE on Nov 27, 2011 09:03 AM  | Hide replies

In the last few games Sachiun is getting out due to late reflexes due to his age...To adjust this inevitable flaw in his batting,I humbly suggest that he should switch over to a lighter bat than he uses...Otherwise instead of getting edges consistently and getting caught in the slips, the ball used to travel fast to coverpoint boundary or a pull shot used to go swiftly to midwicket boundary in his younger days with a heavy bat!Can anyone pass this humble suggestion to him in any which way?

I feel sachin is just playing for his 100th international hundred. With the target, if it is not possible for him to score hundred, He will play like that. All that matters to him is, Can he make hundred in the innings, If it is not he will play a blind cricket. That's why he failed in many second innings

the answer is in his mind and not bat! In all crunch situations for team and for him, he buckles under his own pressure and fails! thats why Ponting, Dravid, Gilkhrist are better batsmen than him actually. They play game in mind perfectly and execute it where sachin fails repeatedly.

coming to your's point in australian team, if ponting not played, gilkhrist will complete or hyden not played slater will complete. But in Indian Team If sachin not played why dravid, shewag, gambir, lakshman not complete the match. So, don't blame only one person its team game. Every one happy since sachin innings one year before. Now, he near comes to new world record for completing the 100 centuries in 100. for your information ponting never scored a fifty or century since January 2010(ashes lost series in AUS), just few days he only complete a fifty in the last test against South Africa. His last 13 test innings avg. is 18.15. So, when you all want comment or wants compare please go thru the statistics and come here. Otherwise close your doors.

sheer stupidity
by divine on Nov 27, 2011 07:50 AM

The match which could have been won with ease was a forced Draw.

Shewag, Tendulkar, Virat, Dhoni lost their cool and were over confident. Their stupidity caused India a very simple victory. But for Virat stand, Windies would have enjoyed the win.

Ofcourse, after a very long time, a Test match was played for full five days with nail biting finish. It was thoroughly enjoyed by millions all over the world.

Message to Indian team: Over Confident never pays. Keep calm and cool always. Success will follow.

Ashwin wasnt at fault AT ALL, Commentator was
by Unapologetic Intellectual on Nov 27, 2011 07:44 AM  | Hide replies

It was the commentator that created the controversy.
Aaron the non-striker was already halfway through first run when Ashwin finished the shot.
By the time Ashwin finished the first run, fielder had already thrown the ball & Ashwin could see the throw was accurate.
There was ABSOLUTELY no chance for a second run for Ashwin & he is not a pretender. He still ran only after seeing Aaron furiously running for the second.
In time Ashwin will learn to pretend on fake dives stuff. But right now he is a refreshingly HONEST cricketer.

Shame on the commentator for repeatedly ridiculing Ashwin, as if a Second run was lost due to laziness.

Speaking of laziness, did you see how VVS Laxman left atleast 5 runs by poor running?
No wonder VVS isnt in One-dayers

Shamme on cricinfo as well.
Their commentator went a step ahead & ruled AFTER watching replays that Ashwin was at fault.
I challenge anyone to watch the highlights at mycrickethighlights dawtCom
The fielder has CLEARLY thrown the ball well BEFORE Ashwin finished his first run, the ball crosses over Ashwins head when his bat touches crease for first run, so he knows the throw is accurate.
Keeper has the ball by the time Ashwin takes his first step for second run.
Stuuppid people commenting here without watching it.

AND shayme on Dhoni for not backing up Ashwin. Poor leadership. The guy is our HERO for this test.
Century , 9 wickets , 14 runs under serious pressure & this is what he gets
