This is a good move to draft in younsgters. There can be few hiccups as it is a young team especially in bowling department(apart from Praveen). This is an exciting time fro Indian cricket future.
Very nice team. Good combinations & got lot of variety. Uthappa should have included in place of Manoj Tiwary. Manoj not utilised the chance he got against England. Thanks a lot to selectors for not selecting Pathan Brothers. Both of them are useless.

Good Playing 11. But Rohit should make the way to Varun Aaron. Too many Batsman not necessary.

true, even i feel the same but as indian team always plays with 7 batsmen induction of varun seems unlikely
Srikanth and Co have made agreat mistake by resting Sachin and Dhoni in One days. Actually our team should have been full strength for the first three one-days. We could have won the series and then the selectors could have gone for complete experimenting. They could have selected all the youngsters for the last two one-days.At the same time the seniors could have travelled early to Australia. This team is not at all balanced with regard to batting.Mind you Sehwag is yet to find full rythm.Sachin and Viru could have opened with Gautam to follow followed by Virat,Suresh and Mahi after which the bowling looks good on paper; the bowlers can excel. They are a good lot. I agree. BCCI selectors have the tendency of resting senior players quite often and this policy never followed by any other country including Australia, England or South Africa. Dhoni's rest is OK but why Tendulkar should take rest when he had been resting in India for long time missing Windies tour and one dayers in England and in India. This is rediculous. Sachin should retire from one dayers if his body does not respond to playing too many matches. At least younger players like Ajinkya should get permanent opener's slot.

Rahul Sharma has been warming the benches for quite some time now. He should be given the chance to prove himself at the earliest say in the first ODI itself. Even Aswin can be rested if required so. All others in the list have had thir chances already. India has been waiting for a Leggie for quite some time. A leggie with good control is an asset to any team and a threat to most of the non-subcontinental teams.
Sachin needs rest till he retires. He should be allowed to be play Test Cricket. But in ODI's he has broken all records won a world cup, there is nothing much he could do, must be boring for himself to play in ODI's again and again.

50 more of that can make it 100.. there is no end. I hope the WC final was his last one day.

Well done National selectors. It's good to see a good number of newcomers in the one-day side. Please groom them, give them a long rope. But for the skipper Dhoni, keep other seniors out of One dayers.
The selection is really commendable by dropping Harbhajan & Yuvraaj selectiors have given clean indication that only performance matters.Gambhir watch out.

Friend and fellow mates, lets just not forget, Yuvi won us the ODI WC just a few months back. Let us not forget he he did not have any drop in form in the ODIs of late too. We have to beleive he himself made unavailable for selection. He still truly is one of India's top match winners in the shorter formats.
