Mr Navin Udupa (from udupi?....) Tendulkar was there before Shewag, dravid, Laxman..... and it was only tendulkar then. Pls check the matches from 1989 - 99. Am sure you too would have watched indian cricket at that time for Sachin only and not for the likes of Srinath, Kumble, Azar ... (with due respect each of them a superstar themselves.

It was only Tendulkar from 1989 - 99 there was no Shewag, Laxman, Dhone... then and Rahul dravid was only a so so. You too must have followed Indian cricked only for this man at that time and not for the likes of Srinath, Kumble, Azar .... (with due respect to each of them a superstar by themselves. Dont belittle him today as he slows down. He was the face of indian cricket and the inspiration to all those you mentioned. By the way are you from MGM?

He needs to focus on his fitness first. He has just played 1 test and already injured his foot and will be unavailable for the 1st test against NZ. But surely, if he keeps his fitness, he will be the next Mcgrath or Brett Lee for AUS. If doesn't then he will go the Shaun Tait way.
