Wow such a mamoth score..Certainly spirit lifting event for WI team..last innings 400 plus and now almost 575 plus...and yeah dont they say catches win matches....sure..drops loose/draw matches ...How many times Did WI put 550 plus without chanderpaul in last few years...interestign to find out..Anyways Good cricket..lets see what Ind team does next..And those who are sick, only commenting on pitch or SRT ton etc etc learn to praise opposition as well as how many times first 6 batters do fifties plus in a match..??

No point in trying to win this

I dont think any team chasing a 600 odd first innings total will try to win the match. If so they got to bat like T20 to overhaul the score & then bowl the opposition out & then finally chase & win, all these in three days? It will be suicidal to do that. Dont understand why the writer cites previous instances which where totally different from the present one & blame the Indian time? Any team can have an off day especially in placid tracks like these..The writer should have compared WI 1st innings's with India's in the second test, where by the end of day 2, they had score 640 odd runs, declared & taken 2 crucial WI wickets, thereby ensuring a result.

Dropped catches do not win matches

The great fielders like Dravid, Dhoni and Laxman dropping catches not only demoralises the bowlers but also the chances of winning matches are reduced to ZERO.

Dude.. as if West Indies did not drop any catches.. if they had in both the earlier test.. both would have ended in draw at least

Yeah Its not supporting or Not..but the truth is catches win matches and drop make loosers/draws..Of course full credit to WI batters after all how many times first 6 make 50 plus in a match..?? YEah Quick fire from Veru could bring back the match. I love to watch him play but Veru is not predictable at all.
