With 73 Avg to dismiss a Batsman and taking 126 deliveries to dismiss a Batsman in Aussie land even H Singh knows he better not to tour Australia. A Batsman would be proud of his Avg and SR in Aussie land

if u didnt care, you would not have been commenting here. even if he is a Pakistani, we have to accept that he is the best left-arm fast bowler of all times and he has got a huge fan following even in India.
There has to be a pool and policy how fast bowlers are treated. Its not old times where the same bowler(read fast bowler) keeps on playing for 10-15 years. That just does not happen now. Not with India, not with any team.
For India,
There should be a pool where in the ones absolutely fit and are on form should be on tours whether others keep playing domestic games (and nit idle like RP was drafted into England tour) so when the need comes player is just drafted into the 15 and this should absolutley not be based on Zonal quota based selections(we should have done away this long long back if we want to be the NO.1)
I absolutely agree whats said. Not just about Zaheer, but anybody who comes back from injury. Its better they prove their form and match fitness enough before they play international games.
Than any other discipline, demands modern day fast bowling with the amount of cricket played brings in lot of injuries too. Not just now, and not just with Zaheer, lets not repeat an Engalnd

No Virat for tests please. His technique is horrible! He's another Yuvraj in the making. Just brute force.
For once I agree with Akram. Zaheer is not natural choice. Infact I still remember Greg Chappel mentioned him an unfit player. He has talent but he is not physicallt fit to sustain one dayer also, leave alone TEST.
Zaheer needs to touch his heart and tell how fit is he. If he cant do justice, then its better he play only T20 for his money :)

take him into the tour , but keep him as a reserve player.. and ask him to take up the role of coaching (unofficially)..

thats true, but Zaheer is 33 year old and injuring himself often. Let youngsters play and learn.

33 is still OK. we also have 37 year olds playing in indian eleven, just for records without giving a hint of retirement.
BTW, is Akram sports corrspondent of Rediff or BCCI? can anybody tell.
