India cannot think too much about a 3-0 whitewash
by Nikhil Shah on Nov 22, 2011 06:42 AM

The 2nd Test was a clear example of poor planning that resulted in WI scoring more than 400 runs in the 2nd innings.

The main reason was bowler fatigue. Whenever a team bowls 175 overs on the trott, the last 75 overs are lacking in quality, the WI took advantage and racked up runs to give the Indians a scare.

India should have planned properly by declaring at 500 and bowl WI out, instead of a follow on they should have rested the bowlers.

Bowler fatigue, and burn out has been the main problem with not only our fast bowlers but spinners as well in recent times.

India can still win the match without having to bowl 200 overs on the trot hopefully the 3rd Test is properly executed without trying too hard to win with a follow-on or score centuries resulting in late declarations.

We are hoping to see Rohit Sharma, and not Virat. This is based on merit and not on first come first chance. Rohit is a genuine Test bat and Virat seems to have faded into the 1-day format.

All that matters
by Just Curious on Nov 22, 2011 04:45 AM

It is always Sachin fana-tics against Sachin opp-osers.
As a sports lover and India supporter, all that matters for rest of us is India win no matter who scores century or who doesn't.

Cricket is a team game, and definetly not an individual game.let Sachin play his natural game with an aim of indian victory and not recrd creating century.of course the century will come in due course of time.
