HE IS NOT WORTH SUCH KID-GLOVE TREATMENT
by damodaran mohan on Nov 21, 2011 07:37 PM

But why is he not playing the Ranji matches already ? As per media report he is going to play only one Ranji match against lowly placed Orissa! Will it be good enough for selection to the tough Australian series ?It is not clear why such kid-glove treatment to such an inconsistent player. He does more Nakhras than his real worth. It is time for the selectors not to put up with such idiosynchrosis of players. We are already having enough from our cricketing God.

Time Pass
Team India
by Time Pass on Nov 21, 2011 05:23 PM  | Hide replies

Team India cannot be called world beaters unless they start winning overseas. In India, the pitches are like National Highways and one can hit the bowler on the up, irrespective of his pace. The real technique of any batsman comes out when he faces swinging/seaming/bouncing deliveries on foreign pitches.

Indian pitches are tailor-made for batsmen and spinners.

zaheer at the nets, how about bhajji ?
by D S on Nov 21, 2011 04:53 PM

after sScrewingg india at crucial occasion by not telling fully about
his fitness in England , he walked out of a crucial match. zaheer is
making amends. Hope he does not make that mistake of not correctly
disclosing his fitness again when younger Indian fast bowlers begin to
rise on their own.

We are not ready for zaheer if he is not fully
committed. Hope he does not derail new indian bowlers without them
knowing it. He will be watched.

it is a dream , sardarji has played his last test in England and he ran away. Zaheer will last only 2 test, wait and see tamasahs plus fast bowlers rabbit yuvaraj fits to play only in one day. rp singh, harbajan, sreesanth , amit sharma , munaf , nehra already retired from Test Cricket. Don't u know that , sardarji

@Krishna,

I am not a friend nor a supporter. But my dear friend look at the previous record of H'bhajan at Aussie tour. And moreover we need experience in the bowling side. If if Zaheer again enjured then this sardar with his experience lead the bowling attack. Forget he takes wicket or not, but experience counts my dear.

how long he keeps on playing, be straight forward like Kim Hughes or like Greenidge. He played for more than 22 yrs. let's break and the Ever Green Dravid will Shepered the young batters along with VVS. We don't need any more pests. Rohit, two Tiwaries, Paul Vallthaty, and handful of batsman are waiting for this 4th slot. Enough, how long we can continue with an old aox

Viru, Gauti, Rahul, SRT, VVS, Kohli, MSD, Ishanth, Yadav, Aaron, Ashwin, Ojha will definitely be there. About the remaining 3 to 4 slots, your guess is as good as mine.
