THE GREAT GREG POSSESS NO PERMISSION IN AUSTRALIAN PAVELION
by subrata banerjee on Nov 20, 2011 03:27 PM  | Hide replies

See the fate of a player who is not not only liked by the present Australian players, but also, he has been denied entry in Australian pavelion by Australian cricket board. Does it not prove his idiocity and unpopularity in his own country? When Greigh arrived in India as national coach, the Indian team comprising Sourav Ganguly (captain), Sachin, Dravid, Laxman, Kumble, Harbhajan, viru, yubaraj, srinath, zaheer, and as wicket keeper there were nearly 4 keepers Dravid(temporary), deep dasgupta, parthiv patel and at last came dhoni.
In FACT GREIG PLAYED EXTREME NASTY POLITICS AMONG PLAYERS MAINLY AGAINST TWO GREATS SACHIN AND SOURAV. THE PEOPLE OF INDIA KNOW THE AMAZING PERFORMANCES FOR YEARS TOGETHER TO LIFT THE PRESTIGE OF INDIAN CRICKET TO AN UNBELIEVABLE HEIGHT, WHICH IN FACT, GREIG CHAPPEL COULD NOT DIGEST. AND FOR THIS HE STARTED TO CREATE CONFUSIONS MAINLY AMONG YOUNG PLAYERS WHO WERE MAINLY WAITING ON THE RESERVE BENCH AND FINALLY GOT SUCCESS.
AS SOURAV HAS RETIRED, HE FELT IT EASY TO ATTACK HIM BUT VER SOON HE REALISED THAT HE HAS MADE AN ANOTHER MISTAKE BY ATTACKING THE GREAT SACHIN (greig chappel, in fact, never liked sachin, that is certain. BUT THE DAMAGE WAS DONE BEFORE HE REALISED.
SO LET GREIG CHAPPEL BARK.

You speak like a true bong. You're preaching to the choir. We all know that. Next time you write something, please make it concise. However it's true that GREG SUCKS.

Agreed... He had been saying this through out that India has talents but seniors don't want it to come forward as their own position is at stake. We know India is known for making wrong policies, wrong people are at top positions and finding scape goats for their own failures whether sports or any other field,,, be it politics itself.. We are taking fruits of his wise thinking.. mind it a drunkard can preach you not to drink..
we are tasting the fruits of the trees he has planted... Whether anyone agrees or not but that is a fact..

Chapel as a coach...Sucked BIG TIME! Whoever calls him a great coach has abilities to play medium pacers only! Suresh Raina is a good addition for one dayers for Indian Pitches. Did u guys get it? if u had a bit of training, i believe u guys would have had better success than him. He can't even stand up to fast balling.

List of players who cannot play fast bowling:

1. Suresh Raina
2. Yuvraj Singh
3. MS Dhoni
4. Virat Kohli

These 4 players are good in Indian pitches. People who disagree...I have my heartfelt sympathy for ur lack of understanding the game.

Chappell may not have had a glorious ending with the Indian team...after the world cup disaster, the selectors looking for a scapegoat had to show him the door unceremoniously to appease the collective anger of a nation of idol-worshippers that fanatically hold on to their demigods....But I have no doubt that if he had his way with things and if the political mindset of some of the senior Indian players not ruined what he had planned, it would probably have been the best and most successful Indian team EVER...I still remember India under Chappell and DRavid winning matches on the trot, consecutively whitewashing opponents, something which you do not generally see with india which becomes complacent after winning 2 or 3 matches...Chappell gave more importance to fitness and team success rather than individual brilliance...so a non-performer had no place in such a team just because he is a senior...so the called seniors ganged up against him and ruined his grand plans...IT IS NOT CHAPPELL BUT THOSE SENIORS THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN PUNISHED BY BCCCI....ALL THE SUCCESS OF INDIA UNDER KIRSTEN AND THE WORLD CUP SUCCESS IS DIRECTLY BECAUSE OF WHAT CHAPPELL PLANNED AND THE PROCESS STRATED BY HIM YEARS AGO

i know my comments will attract the anger of a lot of indian cricket fans out here...but i will take it because the average fan is foolish and cares more about his hero scoring a hundred rather than the team winning which is ridiculous...i at least expect some amount of decency from the genuine indian cricket lovers...they should acknowledge the contributions of a great coach and cricketer...we owe all our success in the last3-4 years to Chappell....because of him Kirsten did not have much problems....we should at least be grateful and say "thank you"

Can you back up your statements with facts? This guy has been found out to be a divisive self-promoting character that has been kicked out from both Indian and Australia teams as coach and director. He was so pathetic that he made news by commenting about his own players to the press in not so good terms.

You call him a coach? you must be joking. Also, come down from your high horse and smell the ground a bit.

dear mr akassh
can you tell me what constitutes as 'failure' in your dictionary? if having good results is to be called failure then aussies were failures for so many years werent' they?

and what more proof do you want that chappell is good coach. he was kicked out by his own cricket board? and what is the state of aussie cricket? tell me? 47 all out? did you watch how aussies have performed. even in their own country england defeated them 3 innings defeat in one series!! and why was that? because they did NOT appoint greg chappell as coach of their national team? what more proof do you want?

do you see what has happened to the newcomers nurtured and developed and given chances by chappell? do you know what our new generation players have done? defeated no. 1 odi aus team in their own country...without seniors then they won T20 wc...without seniors..they won 2011 odi WC...without seniors..what more proof do you want?

are you sleeping or what?

Sunil - u dump ask. BCCI made this dump ask a coach thinking he will win matches for india. This dump ask lost WCup. His divisive policies and self promotion destroyed indian cricket.

Do you know he got kicked out of Aussie dressing room for his attitude?

In this guy's tenure we lost Irfan Pathan. Mohammed Kaif. What more do you want to dump dump person"?

What is the use of plan??? he does not know how to handle a team in a sensible way...He thought he was the captain ..that is the whole problem...
For your information it was John wright who shaped the winning team by including youngsters...Greg could not even maintain the same spirit leave alone improving... Greg was austaralian agent to destoy indian team spirit...he was rightly shown the door...

rish swami, isnt it obvious why greg chappell was kicked out by ACB? because of internal politics, regionalism, arrogance and unprofessionalism, no care of australian cricket future...

our board cares about our future...they brought in foreign coaches despite stiff opposition from local coaches and see where we are for the past decade we have done exceedingly well...wright, chappell and kirsten all helped us to be no. 1 in all 3 formats in their own individual way/approach...

and tell where aussies cricet is after they kicked out chappell? they are going from bad to worse to worst...
3 innings defeat (!) in one series (!) at home (!) Thats what they achieved by kicking out chappell...and they are still paying for it/...now they cannot last 20 overs in even tests...47 all out???

nowhere have i ever seen such pathetic ridiculous and arrogant demands like aussie players and their captain...Imagine they want the authority to decide who will be their selector and who will be their coach...and they got away with it!!!

thats the state of aussie cricket now...

it is like a student been given the right that he will decide what questions will be there in his question paper and who will examine his answer sheets!!
