Considering his performance ,it justified his removal from team not from test. He should also be removed from one day match particularly when many good players are available.In this reference performnce of players against England can be considered and chance should be given to them.
Axing of Yuvraj was not at all a surprise. The correct question would have been: Why was he selected in first place? A surprise however is the selection of Rohit Sharma over Virat Kohli and Cheteshwar Pujara. Indian selectors can never stop throwing surprises.

Pujara was tried in South Africa. He has good technique and can be useful in the long run. He is just coming back from injury. For him to have a chance, he needs to play Ranji once again. Middle Order Contenders would be Kohli, Rohit, Rahane, Pujara and Rayudu and Raina. These guys need to grab their chances to do well once the Big 3 Call it a Day.

All the commentators had commented before the match that team winning toss should bat first as the pitch was new and will crumble during the match 2. All the News papers had written before the match and on the match day that team winning toss will be Batting first as the pitch was not going to last( as was proved during the match). 3. Than why it was decided by Azhar to field despite the fact that Siddhu was padded up to Bat as pre decided( as was his habit). 3. When Srinath had taken the first three Srilanka wickets ( 1,0,1) in first few overs why he was given only 7(seven) overs? while a novice like Kapoor( unknown)was given 10 overs and Jadeja was given 5 overs(31 runs) allowing Srilanka to recover from disastrous start.4. Why Srinath was asked to come to Bat at 4- wicket down when ther was need to consolidate and no need for pinch hitter; ahead of seasoned player like Jadeja, who also threw his wicket ! 5. Azhar, Jadeja and Mongia have been given life bans for match fixing as per CBI report !!!! SO who is right Kambli or Azhar ?
yuvraj singh was a batch senior to me in school. he and sangram singh; present ranji captain of himachal, were in same class. though sangram is from lawrence school sanawar and yuraj from yps, patiala,both school had lots of sports activity between them. i was born on 30-11-1978 and sangram in 76. there is no way yuvraj is five year younger to him. i mean by that age when sangram was say 11, yuvi was barely 6 and when he was arnd 16 yuvi was a 11 year old baby. and we all played each other for from class 4 to class 12, and we could never see the age diffrence. thats a ridiculous assumption. he has fudged his age by atleas 4 yrs. shame shame yuvi.

Hmm..thats an interesting fact, rahul..If this is true, Yuvraj is 34 already or maybe even 35...almost nearing retirement you could say..

This is ridiculous. There should be a proper enquiry into this and you should be bold enough to appear before the inquiry and if proved Yuvraj should be banned for delclaration of his wrong age. In this way you are also culprit because why didn't you raise this before he was selected as a Punjab Ranji Trophy player. BST
