I think the selectors have gone crazy. What is the need for selectors to bring in Rohit Sharma when he will not have chance to figure it out in the playing elven

its a poor strategy by our selectors..we all knows what exactly Yuvraj is how can v figure him out after 2 or 3 performance...selectors need not to forget that many o the wonder players took more than 20 Inings in Test to got there 1st Century whether its Sachin or Gr8 Sir Garry Sobers etc

TALENT IS ABOVE ALL
by Vaneet Chawla on Nov 18, 2011 05:02 PM  | Hide replies

Talent takes the front seat as the selectors look favorably towards Rohit.I think Rohit deserves the no. 6 spot ahead of Kohli as he has better temperament

rohit is good batsman, a reasonably good bowler and fieldsman..he must be given a chance..his track record is not all that great, but not bad

Stats are like mini skirts. they hide more than they reveal. If U understand cricket just watch the technique. In last two matches he has 2 centuries out of which one at delhi against railways was on a 45 degrees turning track.

As a matter of stratagey he should have been in the team. He has all the ability to prove himself.

Yuvraj-Drop Status
by Gokul Sharma on Nov 18, 2011 05:00 PM  | Hide replies

Yuvraj appears to be not a serious player as it is needed to be like Dravid, Kohli, Dhoni and like. He is not at all in form now. His injury perhaps is not fully cured. He is otherwise enjoing life through various entertainments. It is his lifestyle. So, to make acomeback, Yuvraj must understand the consistancy required to continue as player in the Test, ODI, T20. Still Best wishes !!

please remember that yuvraj has been in and out of the tests. He is a better player and even this test record is not that bad, for a person who had played fewer tests. Yuvi is a class and elegant player and nobody can deny his talent. At times he doesn't click. But you should give him more chances. By junking him out it will only add to his frustration. Remember he is in the Indian Squad for several years and Rohit Sharma cannot be compared with him.
