what did he do against WI in first match

Dravid is good and defintely he doesnt have talent like tendulkar in all round cricket as such.. even test matches.. everyone knows thar pressure factor in cricket is really a BIG thing.. its cos of Tendulkar carrying the pressure or gets all the attention (that also cos of his talent and performance) on his shoulder batsmen like Dravid gets enough space and freedom under Tendulkars umbrella.. this has been happening and will keep happening..

by pasala somasekhar on Nov 15, 2011 12:05 AM

the two great batsmen in crisis for india are dravid and laxman. people with no ad companies running after them and dedicated to just cricket. dravid no.one and laxman no.two in list. they will be heroes for every one. no personal records but only nation's duty. i salute these two heroes

keep going dravid. score another one in the next innings or in the next match! dravid truly deserves the tagline of the wall, and has been the anchor for india throughout his career!

Harbhajan again failed in Ranji
by Tamim Iqbal on Nov 14, 2011 10:54 PM  | Hide replies

Despite his wicketless match against orissa last week and 1st ball duck out. The tragedy seems to be continuing for bhajji against the second ranji as well. this time he manages to take 1 wicket. once again his poor form and no innovation in bowling is letting him down.

Harbhajan may be soon dropped from domestic matches as well if he continues the same performance. He has to go back to his coach and learn new techniques to prove himself a lethal bowler otherwise end of the road for harbhajan comeback.

I Agree with you Vijay. We wish Rahul continue this form. Unfortunately no technically correct bastman is around to take his one down position.
so India cant afford to lose Dravid anytime.
Above all he is still playing too good. So its time technically young batsman is to be found.

Salute to Rahul

Best batsman
by sameer bhagwat on Nov 14, 2011 08:53 PM  | Hide replies

The greatest Indian batsman. Among all the cacophony of Mr 99's supporters, the wall has stood tall. When the going gets tough, the tough gets going. Getting runs under ideal circumstances is admirable, but getting them when the team needs it the most shows the true value of a batsman. Dravid has always remained dignified and earned the respect of team mates and opponents rather than fight for opening position in ODIs in order to increase his number of centuries like you-know-who. Plus as we saw in England, he goes the extra mile to help the team in need by keeping wickets or even opening the batting.

I agree with you, He goes as per the team requirement, But some said to be great players wants to open in ODI's but dont want to face new ball in tests. Sad that he is still there

THE WALL

there used to be huge arguments for vishy vs sunny those days. I FOR ONE WAS AN ARDENT FAN OF G R VISHWANATH. But I have to admit here in terms of test cricket performance atleast from 1970 onwards, Rahul Dravid should be rated as the very best , THE WALL IS GETTING LONGER AND WIDER.
