Ishant can rest for the 3rd Test

With the media pushing for a 3-0 white wash, it would be better if Ishant can rest in the 3rd Test with a 2-0 lead.

In addition, the middle experiments for Tests are wide open since sooner or later Dravid, Sachin and Laxman need to be replaced.

Rahane should also get a crack at this along with Rohit Sharma. Tiwari and Pujara may have to wait.

India can still maintain a strong lineup with Rahane
and Rohit Sharma in the 3rd Test with a 2-0 lead.

Rohit Sharma ? Seriously ?

Had it been 2009 , i would have agreed. But Rohit doesn't seem to have when it comes to ODI and Tests. He is a very talented batsman, but it seems like he is not meant for the national team

Disaster in the making....

During India's England tour, when Ishant got injured, Wasim Akram made a very valid point. The grounds and pitches in Australia are the hardest in the world and if Ishant is postponing his ankle surgery so as to play in Australia he will not only aggravate the problem.
But who cares...!!! Lets wait and see..

good for ishant

i really think that Ishant Sharma is a very good bowler who needs to be groomed properly and handled with care. there should be proper rotation system in place and bowlers like him should be allowed to play only test cricket and only important one day internationals. He has done really well for India in the last 1 year and will definitely do well in Australia where the fast and bouncy wickets really suits his hit the deck sort of bowling. with Zaheer also recovering well, India have 5 good fast bowlers in Zaheer, Ishant, Praveen, Umesh and Aaron to bank upon in australia.

Seriously , whats with this GROOMING word that you people utter time and time again? What do you think has been happening since 2007-2008 ?

grooming seems to be the new fancy word of folks who have absolutely no clue on when to use it
