The wonderful writings of Peter Roebuck shall surely missed by all of us, who were used to his cricket writings. Nearing 40 yrs of age I have lesser interest in Cricket now, than what I used to have earlier. But I never missed Peter's writings. A coloumn by him was always the first read, in the sports page. The sport of Cricket was fortunate to have a critic/analyzer in him. When the morning paper arrives tomorrow, the sports page shall mourn the prolific writer. Bye, Peter. We loved you.

"It is believed he was spoken to by police earlier in the day," the Herald report of his death said.
