With Ashwin, Ojha, Piyush, Amit Mishra and Rahul Sharma in contention it will be very difficult for Bhajji to make a comeback unless he uses his good offices with Dhoni

Who cares for Cricket any way!?Spectators and sponsorsMUST Dump time-wasting and Boring and poverty producing Test Cricket&Ranji Trophy and Duleep Trophy Cricket forever and ONLY osrt cricketmatches of 20 or 25 overs must be allowed to be played druing week-ends or Holdiays ONLY.What has country gained in playing cricket for past 100 years and more, other than wasting trillions of man hours and woman hours watching a boring and time-wasting game and making indians poorer and poorer every year while other non-cricket playing nations are becoming superpowers, by using time and not wasting time like us, shame that we have not banned cricket as a game already after seeing the contributing effect ofpoverty and under-development,etc.May be the britishers wanted to makeus lazy and morrons forever like the making of the mahtma and non-violence too, what a shame!

It is pleasent one to see two new spinners doing the wonderful job in the first Test match in Delhi. This has brought back the confidence in the game watchers. We wish them to remain effective for a very long spell.but this definately does not allow us to start denigrading Harbhajan Sing. Anyone taking 400 wickets can not be an ordinary bowler.YES everybody passes thru the tough time in one's career.Harbhajan is not an exeption. He is a fighter, will make a comeback.Age is on his side. let us wish him a good luck.

Lucky Bhajji
by John Francis on Nov 10, 2011 05:12 PM  | Hide replies

Harbhajan is a very arrogant cricketer. His bowling has become very predictable and ordinary. He can only comeback if the new breed of spinners do not remain consistent and if that happens, it will deinitely not be a step forward for Indian cricket. Bhajji has been very lucky to stay in the indian team for such a long time and it will be extremely unfortunate if he makes a comeback on basis of poor performance by others rather than an improved performance by himself.

Harbhajans time is up
by Hari on Nov 10, 2011 02:21 PM  | Hide replies

Enough support was given to Bhajji, who has the worst average and strike rate among players with 400 or more wickets. This goes onto show that his wickets are more a product of managed longevity in team rather than pure skills. How many experts have pointed this out many times in the last few years.
Its time for him to hang up his boots for good and concentrate on grooming young spinners such as Ojha/Chawla/Ashwin trio

leave his arrogance.....but we need performance...which is missing from him since kumble left the team....we must search for a new match winner spinner

Harbhajan despite a string of poor performances over an extended period of time manages to retain his place in the team, because he never lost an opportunity to praise Tendulkar. Unless he has forgotten this art, he will always have a chance to get back into the team.

Sambars and idlis are excellent for breakfast for South Indians. In any how, performance is the matter and not sambar or uthappam.

Harbajan was good with Kumble performing
by vivek on Nov 10, 2011 02:02 PM

Simply harbajan was good with Kumble around and performing. With Kumble putting presurre on one side he got wickets on the other side.
Can some one pick up some statistics of how harbajan performed after kumble's retirement? iam sure statistics will prove it.

Harbajan can make it
by Gandhi on Nov 10, 2011 01:36 PM  | Hide replies

With the amount of cricket going on, Harbajan is bound to get back either in ODI's or tests if any spinner gets injured.
The way Ashwin bowled - it was delighting. May be Harbajan can raise gas till that level and come back to haunt opposition.
