these type of attitude are common in India. particularly in politics, academics, and civil services. once one has reached top, he has only to be listened or heard. criticism or suggestion are not welcome. it is the bane of of India!
also, contractors, bill are never paid in time and they have to plead for payment in time!

The shock he couldn't recover from till date & selling books is a old fashioned trick that we all know very well. He is looking for a job urgently it seems ?
