While what Amir was convicted of doing is inexcusable, one cannot forget that he did confess before the trial started. Therefore, perhaps a deserves a little credit & maybe some leeway for that. I have got no sympathy for the other two who, even today, despite the mountains of evidence and a majority jury guilty verdict still deny the charges.
Aamir says he loves cricket more than anything else in the world. How disingenuous is that! His actions proves that he placed easy money over the game. Rot in jail, loser.

Have some consideration for his age, Sir! He was born with a talent which was awesome. He still can play and take 500 Test wickets. For Cricket's sake, I hope he does.

you mean if somebody has talent then then law should be lenient to him. Infact it should be held more guilty as he took advantage of his talent and cheated whole nation.... And all of us have passed "age of 18 & 19", its matured enough to understand what is right and what is wrong...
If I were a 18 year old I would have obeyed what the captain says. As I would not want to destroy my future. well even if I am 40 year old I would still obey captain. And I think there is pressure on our players as well. different kinds of pressure. Suresh Raina once said he gets energy to play because of his mothers food. I think Raina said that becuase the public wants youngsters to be humble and down to earth. How many time Suresh Raina actually have eaten mothers food in his busy cricket schedule? Those are the tricks to survive in our nation. Some tricks are illegal some tricks are sweet like Raina's :)
