It's very obvious that the tailenders at tat situation are just stand to support to batsman. It's not surprising.

There is no such innings from this master plaster in any of the international matches. So he has to remember this for life time. Further, if any one would have seen that innings, it was very clear that this guy wanted to score 200 desperately and hence did not allow tail enders to take any singles at all. Here he is talking as if he never seen the score board when he was batting. What a joke!!

Venkat - give the credit where it is due.. Let me know one single innings from this so called 'GOD' which helped his country to avoid the defeat. There are many instances of such innings from other cricketers like Rahul Dravid, Laxman, Dhoni or Sunil Gavaskar, but definitely not from Sachin. And truth hurts, right?

Dear

We give due credit to Dravid Laxman Dhoni. Please do not compare Great Sunil Gavaskar with these players. You will appreciate the fact that Dravid & Laxman started playing well against mediocre attacks and Dhoni of course in Indian pitches.

world semifinal 2011. WB series century ib 2008 - india winning triangular first time in Aus, century against Eng to chase 390 odd remaining unbeaten till end. two centuries in SA series without wich series was lost. These are recent examples. There is full websire dedicated to wins where Sachin contribution was major. Two famous misses when he score 136 in great pain but rest of the idiots made mess against pakistan and recently 175 against Aus again last four wickets cannot make 17 from 16 ball.

He must be fast nearing his century or double ton and did not wish to take chances with the tailenders or no-ball givers.

That Tendulkar remembers local cricket as well and gives it the publicity thats due of it. We havent seen much of Sachin talking about Ranji or local cricket matches. Perhaps the rest helped him find time to recollect those.

Forget Tendya, Sangakkara is the greatest
by cc man on Nov 03, 2011 08:41 PM  | Hide replies

Forget Tendya, he records and his years of cricket are waste now. Sangakkara is the greatest and he holds highest test average and will eclipse Tendya.

Hail next bradman Sangakkara. Also, he playing a match saving innings of 277 against Pak recently is an indication of his greatness compared to Tendya who just cannot deliver such innings when needed

How many match winning innings or match saving innings has he played outside subcontnent pitches, don't make hullaboo about 1 innings from a flat track bully like Sanga. For that matter ,how many matches has SL win outside subcontinent.
