No chance

You have been playing international cricket for 12 years, but despite getting numerous chances haven't bee able to cement your place in the test squad. Do you realistically think that you deserve to be a test cricketer?
Giving any further chances to Yuvraj Singh in the test team is an injustice to other batsmen. I wonder why Rohit Sharma was not given the chance as he is a very capable batsman!
Suresh Raina and Yuvraj Singh are just not cut out for test cricket. Selectors have realised this in the case of Raina, and the sooner they realise in the case of Yuvraj Singh the better.

what is he saying at this age? At the age of 30 he should think of retiring from test instead of cementing his place out there :).

Test Cricket is not your cup of tea, Yuvi.
You are good only with ODI & T20.

batsmen are become mature with their age. I think yuvi's time has just arrived to play test cricket. He will soon be the permanent member of the test team. All the best yuvi.

Now when young players are doing well he is wants to be a good cricketer. On one pretext or the other he walks away in the midst of the tournament and now he wants a place and tries harder./

Shame on him

yes!!.yuvi is right . though he is complete package in one-day as well as T-20 format but he has to proof himself as a best TEST CRICKETER. and i thing he has a golden chance now against west indies and austrilia . and i thing he can do that . because he is now in best form. also his confidence level is high duo to world cup 2011's player of tournament.

Good test cricketer ??
by Chat on Nov 02, 2011 10:02 AM  | Hide replies

Forget abut becoming good test cricketer , firstly be a good cricketer itself. Yuvraj cant face pace bowlers on fast n bouncy wickets. He cant face quality spinners on turning wickets which was proved by Murlidharan many many times.

Yuvi can't play quality pace attack? you are completely wrong. yuvraj may struggle against quality soin attack but he has played good against quality pace attacks on fast &bouncy tracks in southafrica and australia

Playing fast bowling in ODIs is not a great deal as there is hardly any slip and no silly point/forward short leg/leg gully etc. But playing fast bowling in test cricket is a different matter altogether as it requires good to excellent technique, loads of concentration, self-belief and above all courage.
Yubraj Singh, sadly, don't possess the aforementioned qualities.

CRICKET HAS LOST ITS GROUND !!!!
by mahesh mahesh on Nov 02, 2011 09:56 AM  | Hide replies

Too late for this declaration !!!

Cricket is out of India.Media cannot do anything to revive it.

With lot of politics in selection, too much of cricket, who will see it.

Since Dhoni is inducted, South India representation has diminished for apparent reason. This unreasonable discrimination is one of the root cause for loosing interest in cricket.

Lastly, tell me with Kumble,Ganguly, etc gone and Dravid,VVS on the verge of going and with SACHIN going out who will see cricket without these icons.

Dhone,Yuvraj,Gambhit,Bhajji, Virat is no where near these iconic legends whom people loved to see.

SO WITH SACHIN GONE,SAY BYE BYE TO CRICKET.

There are no true legends after Gavaskar and Kapil dev. Sachin and Dravid may approach but cant quite reach the level of authority these two cricketers established on opposition during their period. That was the time when India rose in stature as a cricketing nation of world standards.
