Aswin already have played internation cricket and Valthathy is 29 and is strugling to play for mumabi in ranji.
Our sports ministry should hand over the management of all sports in the country to the cash (stinking) rich BCCI and request them to make an earnest effort to develop other sports as well for the next decade. Give them a free hand.
Some will cry foul. It does not matter. Look at the plight of hockey and foot ball today in this country. BCCI should be renamed of BSCI (Board of Sports Control of India).
I am certain that there will be remarkable change in the sports result of this country in less than five years. Then allow them to bid for the Olympics and conduct it also. Look at China. They withdrew from all the international sports less than two decades ago. Today there are number one because of proper management. Despite people like Pawar and co, BCCI will manage to come out with flying colors.

may be we should get the now defunct Modi to administer the hockey scene...Agreed he will make some bucks from the trade...but in the interest of the larger picture we could let him do that ...cant we!!! And as you pointed out...he is after all a BCCI boss (though that is now history!!)
If we have to nurture Indian talent the franchise owners have to be told that only four foreigners will be allowed to be recruited so that if some one gets injures or falls sick he can be only replaced by an Indian player.
What young talent? Is there any place for new players.Already 3 teams can be built with existing bench strength.
Let us focus on other games.Enough of cricket.Saina Nehwal defeated world number 3 Wang Xin of China in China few days back. Why no news on it?
Bengal reclaimed Santosh Trophy yesterday after defeating Manipur. Why no news on it ?
Salgaokar is new IPL Champion.
Sania Malik in semi final at Roland Garros.
Shiv Thapa thrashed world champion in boxing.
So,many other good news on other sports.Let us update regulary on these games.
London 2012 olympic is approaching. We need analysis how is Indian contingent shaping up.Does the new IOC Chief has any idea? Or all energy of IOC is still focused on CWG?

IPL was started to give chances for youngsters. But, franchises ( like CSK) are more keen to win and keep the same unchanged team for almost all matches and youngsters sit on the benches warming it. God save Indian cricket
IPL has done nothing good to Indian cricket. Who Cares if Gayle is most valuable player..does it do anything good for us? How many raw talents have been selected for India? Ban this nonsense to save our cricket.

Ipl has done tonnes of good to Indian cricket... The young talent gets a platform to show their talent with international players and gain valuable experience playing with best in the world cricket. Players like Valthaty, Mayank Agarwal, Manish Pandey, Manoj Tiwari, Saurabh Tiwari, Iqbal Abdulla, Rahul Sharma, Ambati Raydu have grabbed this oppurtunity and have been noticed for their good performances. Other players who have benefited from IPL success are Yusuf Pathan, Rohit Sharma, Badrinath, Amit Mishra......a lot of foreign coaches are helping young talent in India which is a big positive for Indian cricket...Jhonty Rhodes is feilding coach for Mumbai......Wasim Akram is bowling coach for Kolkatta....and many more expert coaches in all sides add the criters experience....so IPL is a big success as FANS are delighted to see Greats perform together.
