Yes,Afridi can become the Indian cricket team captain. Our secular politicians will be immensely happy andbray aloud that appointing Afridi as the captain is an act of secularism.
Dramatics part, Agridi must accept reality. Captaincy went to the wrong person. India too had Azarudins and Gangulys before the board found Mr. perfect in Dhoni. Afridi must be indisoensable to his family not for cricket as a whole. So happy quitting and congrst to PCB for good decisions.

perfect outspoken, dont know how did you compare with Ganguly :). Even, I dont like Azharuddin due to his betting, but still he is far far better than Afridi. :)

sphilip in this forum u speak like homeless peoples do.THAT MIGHT EXPLAIN U WHO IS BEGGAR STAY AWAY U STINK GO TAKE A BATH IN SOME POND .
I am not talking about a Pakistani cricketer, but Shahid Afridi as a cricketer. It is very unfortunate his career is muddled with too many controversies. No doubt he has tremendous talent, but was not channelized properly. Some of his one day innings is worth remembering. Pakistani Board is responsible for this debacle. It is high time Ijaz Bhatt retires himself before the entire pakistani cricket body collapses (which is already in a mess).

NICE COMMENTS...IT SEEMS THAT U HAVE TYPED THESE BUTIFUL COMMENTS BY YOUR HAND WHICH WAS CONNECTED TO MY BRAIN AS WELL....THE ROOT OF ALL THESE MIS-HAPPENING & POOR STATE OF AFFAIRS VIS A VIS PCB IS ONE & ONLY ONE...THE EJAZ BUTT...BUT IT SEEMS THAT BUTT WILL NOT LEAVE BUT PCB WILL BE 'BETTED' VERY SOON, UNTIL BUTT THROWN OUT..
Nothing new!!!ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS IMRAN KHAN,JAVED MIANDAD,SARFRAZ NAWAZ,MUSHTAQ MOHD,SADIQ MOHD,WASIM BARI,WASIM RAJA,RAMEEZ RAJA,ABDUL QADIR....so on & so forth. They all took retirement on more than three occasions & came back out of slumber only to lead the national squd. These stalwarts have not only tarnished this beautiful game but have made a mockery of Pakistan cricket. No wonder entire world boos pakistan cricket with disdain.Ha.It is just a matter of time when the Board apologises to Afridi & requests him to lead Pakistan.Thank God these lechrous greedy dogs were kept at bay from IPL.Goshhhhh.

pls don't include Imran Khan in the league of who 'tarnished this beautiful game'. he is a legend and will always remain so. he turned the grass to gold (inzi/akram just examples). when we hear the word captain the first name comes to my mind is Imran and i think many think so.

no respect for imran as well. who can forget the cold drinks bottle caps to rough the surface of the balls. this was started by that imran to get a lot of swing.
Afridi will definately turn down his retirement, he has done this with intention to get sympathy of the pakis, pak peoples must hv already thrown stones on Ijaz Butt and waqars house
