Pay money to the expectation of the selectors
by Rozario on May 31, 2011 09:44 AM

Looking forward to meet the expectations of the selector srikanth. Pay enough to him to his expectations or else you will not be in the team next time.

Rohit deserves a place for the WI tour.
no body should have any doubt on that count atleast. He shud be given chances to play matches continuously. No body will be able to perform if there is a sword hanging above your head. if he fails in the WI the selectors will be forced to drop him.

Mumbai Players need to wake up
by Indigo Sepoy on May 30, 2011 06:21 PM  | Hide replies

Rohit Sharma is another Mumbai player who thinks that it is his god given right to get a place in the Indian Team if you are from Mumbai. Wake up Mumbai as there are no more Gavaskars or Vengsarkars to lobby for you in the national side. Performance alone counts..Rohit Sharma is nowhere in the class of so many other players from other states and small towns in India. He needs to start performing else please send him back on the Harbour line to Mumbai.

India has so many other exciting talents. Rohit Sharma is lucky to be in the side. Maybe Gavaskars lobbying has helped him!

what about mid 90's when karnataka was lobbying and getting its un wanted really silly and below average cricketers into the side. sunil joshi, dodda ganesh, david johnson, sujith somsundar and list is long.
lot of mumbai players in india side is no miracle or lobbying. its sheer performance as they won ranji for 38 times

Mumbai players are ordinary at best. Overhyped. The only true player is Sachin Tendulkar..all the rest are the result of lobbying. As for karnataka lobbying, you said it! Thanks to Gavaskar's Brother in Law "Gundappa Vishwanath" Karnataka did lobbying in bowling department whereas his brother in law gavaskar did lobbying for mumbai in batting department.

Thanks to Dada this Mumbai Lobby was broken. Dada is to be thanked by all true indian cricketing well wishers.

The problem with Rohit is not class,as he is the classy, most elegant player naturaly gifted to be one of the greatest however the problem with him is temperament and attitude. If he can work on these two parameters thenm no body can stop him.
