once again the difference between the attitude of dhoni and sachin is clear...
dhoni is a person who always puts team interest before self. for him team performance is more important than individual performance. for the sake of the team he is ready to take a back seat when the occasion demands...he is ready to sacrifice individual records/performance if team comes out the winner....
for sachin individual performance/record takes precedence over team interest...for sachin his self interest always comes before team benefit...in the interest of the team he will not let his personal records be lost...if for individual records team interest needs to sacrificed he will not mind it....

Dhoni facts as follows 1)Basis for this point calculation is simply based on strike rate & doesn't give true picture. (Its very easy to play few 20 ball 30 run inning in slog over of T-20 match specially on flat track & when weak bowlers operating. It will give u a good strike rate).
2)Now If you analyze data properly- u will find the answer- Dhoni has succeeded in 4 out of 15 IPL matches he played in IPL-4 so far (considering 30 score as good in T-20)
All 4 good scores came against weakest bowling attack team of IPL like DD/KXIP/RR/RCB
Also 90% of runs scored when bowlers like Amit singh, Trivedi, Agarkar, Arvind , Mithun, Srivastav etc operating
All good innings run scored batting 1st (no pressure) & on flat batting wicket of banglore/delhi/Jaipur/Mohali.
Against good bowling attack like DC/MI/KKR/KTK, he didn't score good in a single match
I mean he never scored well against good bowler like Malinga, Styen, Lee, Amit mishra etc even in IPL.
On bowler friendly wicket like Calcutta, Mumbai, Chennai, Kochi (earlier half)- he failed in all matches with bat.
In fact when CSK was struggling against KKR on calcutta pitch (very low turn & bounce)- Dhoni hided himself in pavilion & promoted other players as batting condition was tough. he didn't even come to bat for 20 overs & CSK lost that match
Also only one out 15 inning has fetched him MOM award while Gyle ha

The MVPI is definitely flawed. The list hardly has any names from CSK in the top bracket notwithstanding the fact that CSK was the most consistent team and finally won the cup. And how has the contribution of Dhoni as captain been taken into account? How do you quantify the Midas touch?

Sachin fails under pressure. Sachin has poor record while chasing. In the wolrd cup final, he failed again while chasing.

You are 100% wrong. Gayle has has performed with both bat and ball in fewer innings compared to S Marsh.

Arvin . Ignore this vaidya. he has some mental issue & next election agent for dhoni. There are 100 of players better than dhoni at prsesnt in world cricket including many indians but this mental sunil vaidya has dhoni disease & sachin phobia. Respect his IQ level(being a politicial fan) & ignore his comments to enjoy sports.
