why paul valthathy was not selected for the one day series. instead they opted for w. saha. where is irfan pathan, ambati raydu, robin uthappa, and others
Enough chances were given to him but,he did nothing,he suits only for IPL that too in Chennai Pitch.Club level batsman selected curtasy Srikanth & Dhoni.

Murali is not selected for ODI. He has been selected only for tests. He is a very good test player.
Everybody has been crying hoarse to build a team for future! Here is the opportunity for the selectors to try to build a team for future!Who knows this may benefit Indian cricket in the long run!

Absolutely. But stupid media will always cry foul over everything. All they are concerned about is business. They don't think twice before sensationalising a non-issue into an issue.
I don't understand all the fuss. This is a sport, and cricketers are entertainers catering to the spectators.
People who criticize them for playing in the IPL and missing out on one series for the national team (that too so that they can play better in the next series for the country) should ask themselves why they chose their current profession over public service.
The big players wanted rest and wished to skip WI tour. The board expressed displeasure that it may send wrong signals. The players agreed to go on the tour. Yes they agreed till IPL was on.And when it was over, all backed out on various counts. The board was involved too.
Cricket is a big game. There is big money in it.
Who cares for the good old game? Who cares for the good old country?
They have found their fame and fortune too. Please distribute Navaratnas Bharat Ratnas.
Its all about money, honey!!!National duty is ignored for earning money whether its missing national award ceremony for ad shooting or now, missing WI but playing in IPL.

U are right, no point blaming the players. They are doing what any professional would - secure their future. Its the board which has to be careful of too much cricket.
