IS SOME " FOOLS IN INDIA" STILL THINK THAT SACHIN IS A "GOD"...THEN THINK AGAIN.....!! AFTER LOOSING...ILP CUP..AS WELL AS ORANGE CAP & LEAST NO MENTION OF HIS NAME IN ANY AWARD IN THIS IPL-4 ....TELL US DIFFERENT STORY.......NOW HE IS ONLY FIT FOR RETIREMENT...!! GO....HOME...SACHIN..!.. PLAY WITH UR CHILDREN..ONLY...!
BREAKING NEWS.......MAHENDRA SINGH DHONI....IS GOD ..OF CRICKET...!!
Whether BCCI represents the country? They do not want to be monitored by any agency. They had the temerity to organize the IPL out of India when the General Elections had to be conducted.
Whoever says that BCCI represents INDIA, they are sadly mistaken. BCCI is a commercial venture like any other business. Making millions at the cost of tax payers money.
Apart from Income tax, there should be a high Entertainment tax levied on all the matches played in India. The BCCI collects crores of rupees by way of Advertisement income etc. No tax exemption to be given to any cricket player or cricket association or cricket body. They are not charitable institutions.
Why bother about the injury of the players? They are inviting it by over indulgence and greed for money. Do not sympathize with them. Every minute is money for them and they want to make fortune by endorsements, appearances, interviews etc.
Why every politician is interested in becoming a part of cricket governing body? Money. More money.
All the news channels are creating a drama over Gambhir's injury as they want prime time attention on their channel. Again - commercial interest. Make quick bucks.
While money power is ruling morality gets defeated.
If Gambhir had not played the last match for KKR due to injury; would it have made him fit and eligible for the Tour! What a needless controversy whipped up by media cheapstakes !!!
Sachin have his hand fully wrapped due to his past tennis elbow injury (check tennis elbow in wikipedia,it can happen to anyone), which is fully recovered. He just use plaster to avoid injury.
are we going to see any more injuries. how many changes we are going to make for the WI tour. why not send our under 19 team to WI so that all our stars will have good rest after the IPL tamasha cricket.

You have the point...but if we lose our media is going to burst over players and BCCI.True cricket lovers follow spirit of the game.Winning losing does'nt matter we have already proved we are world champions.
Everyone know last year Sachin played the ipl final with hand injury - infact one of the hand was fully wrapped and made safety and drugs used as painkiller for it while sachin play. Then how Robin Singh or MI say this ?? Is there any Vengeance between MI and KKR ???

If he have to play for the records he could have hit century on every match,he is capable of that, not to be the side of the team for straight 21 years. Think before you post.

Its shame to see such sad comments(by some religious persons, whos are blinds in hatred)about great cricketer who has given so much to Indian cricket.
When the question of playing for national team comes, these,so called high profile, players say that they want rest. But they are ready to play in IPL for 60 days.the matter is clear.in IPL they get crores of rupees and glamour. But what BCCI pay? just some lacs.So these players like Dhoni,Sachin,Sehwag,Zaheer want rest and they are not bothered to represent the national team.Gambhir took rish of shoulder for 11 crores and played 15 matches KKR.he new that at themost what will happen? he will miss West Indies tour, which he never wanted or cared.these players should be banned for playing in any type of cricket.

Not entirely true. Wasim Akram got it spot on - he said the players cannot be held entirely responsible for playing their hearts out on IPL as it is a BCCI-run tournament and the decision to field all of these players stems from the BCCI.
If the question of nation vs club is so damn valid, it should be answred by the BCCI by not having a window for the IPL and claiming it is a great platform for the cricketing world. Once the players are in, it is only fair that they go with full enthusiasm into it - else the media will paint them as "out of form", "ageing star" and what not.
Simple story - if you drive the players into it, they will play. More they play, they will get injured. Where is the country vs club here ?
The media does nt think before it writes. All it does is sensationalise things so that people like us can debate the obvious things.
IPL is being approved by BCCI itself, BCCI has banned players who have registered themself with ICL, now if the player want some rest because of injury, BCCI has to consider because when the player was playing for IPL, it was with the approval of BCCI, now BCCI has to see weather this much long IPL is acceptable and immediately after the completion of long IPL, everyone needs rest, so it is BCCI who has to think its stategies not the players, they are human not machines. Think BCCI think its your problem
