AKRAM
by aaaa bbbb on May 27, 2011 12:59 PM

Akram view is not correct... why he expects GAMBHIR to play all matches and tests...the indiviual players can choose not to play a series if they are tired or injured and more other players will have opportuinities...
just because these senoir players should get all ooportuinities BCCI cannot have lesser schedule..it is a business to have more turnover..

What the tough schedule of BCCI allows inadvertently, is that the main players need to be rested every now and then to help them rejuvenate. This will create opportunities for upcoming youngsters who can then really showcase their talents better. Everyone will agree that India is playing too much cricket. But then, this inadvertently allows for new players to get a chance as seniors as all other players need to be rested from time to time. BCCI should rest stalwarts and other players should be given chance on tours such as that of West Indies.

What Wasim Akram has said is right. Eventhough cricket has become a commercial sport, the safety of players is important and BCCI should take responsibility and shoud not allow too many matches.

Money minting BCCI
by umesh thakkur on May 27, 2011 12:05 PM  | Hide replies

It seems that BCCI is only interested in miniting money so are the players. It is high time they reelook into the scheduling of matches so as to the players get rest of 45-60 days after each series.

BCCCI does not force you to play if u want rest... give chance for others instead of talking about scheduling...infcat you can easily form 2 teams to play tests simultaneously in different countries..

by India on May 27, 2011 11:57 AM  | Hide replies

Casino cricket called IPL...

For money only you are also in IPL..

IPL is spoiling as there is greed for money for

avg player making too much money even if he fails....

Robib Uthappa was bought for 9 crore by Sahara PW..Pune warrior were ripped apart for this price

He scored very poorly,10-15 runs in most match actually he does not deserve even1 crore...

IPL is aloot for BCCI and some players!!!!!!
