The way management of Delhi Dare Devils had bidden for players at the time of auction,this kind of result was only expected.On the one hand, they chose not to retain players like Gautam Gambhir,AB Develiers,Daniel Vetori,Amit Mishra etc.; however on the other hand they chose to waste 8 crores on player like Irfan Pathan as if DD was a Political party with vote-Bank Considerations and not cricketing considerations. Also, to some extent lack of inspiring leadership of Viru(although he continues to be a great batsman and good human-being.)to some extent also contributed to this kind of result.In this case, think-tank of DD must be punished for choosing such a weak team.

Yeah well said. I echo the same feelings. But this was inevitable as they just didn't have the firepower to make any impact.How many matches can you win if you have only ONE match winner(sehwag)!!. Plus the fact that he is a reluctant captain. It made the matters worse for them.
Dehi Daredevils and Pune Warriors you have an excellent opportunity to improve upon the position next year.This years performance you can treat as learning experience.And Pune Warriors this was your first exposure.Better luck in 2012 edition.
