When all cricket world is accepting that Sachin is a god of game & Icon of Cricket. who u narrow minded people/indians not acknowledging him. When Harry Poter like to meet sachin and so meny others like him. U should understand him becoz the glorious days come for cricket due sachin. Becoz his involvement, dedication, character and his simplicity.
Whenever Sachin scores a century it has resulted in India's loss most of the times,whenever Warne takes 5 wickets or more it has resulted in a win for Aussies. One plays for himself and other plays for his team. Warne has been a inspirational captain for RR where as Sachin is not an inspirational or charismatic leader. Sachin track record as Captain for the National team has been extremely poor. His captaincy for Mumbai Indian's is fairly okay because he has the backing of Ambani's as they can pay any amount to get a decent player in their side. The above facts are sad but true......

Even Warne also told some years before, that he is a fan of sachin. In a india australia match, sachin hit a number of sixes in warne's bowling and warne got a autograph in his T-shirt in that match. Are you really watching sachin from years. Are you watching cricket matches really?

Let me put logic behind ur stats..Sachin is an icon..If he plays well and team wins, credit goes to sachin and media ignores efforst by otehr theam members... Hence, When Sachin scores big the rest of the team gangs up on him , trying to lose the match..and they do so that Sachin does not get the credit..When he does bad , team plays well and win so thatt they can get the credit (because sachin did not score high in that mathc).. That explains ur stats..Tell me who is the culprit..HOwever, Autralian team does not behave that way ..

very well said thoughtful indian, sachin deserves what he is getting. he has stolen the credits of other players performances for over 20 years. sachin needs to be shown his place and firmly put there.

Another Tendulkar related article and one more forum for argument. So typically "rediffish". Why do we need to call him A "GOD" all the time? Personally, I don't like that.. Nobody is above the game.. When we term him as GOD, there's always a danger of some or the other self declared super-intelligent raising his hand up and arguing that Sachin is a piece of trash.. Sachin's records speak for themselves but his contribution in terms of mentoring and knowledge sharing towards Indian cricket is bigger than his on field performances. Why do we need a nod from Warnie to stamp on the well known fact that Sachin is the best batsman of his era? Is it the case where we believe because someone else believes? Sachin is NOT the most talented of his times, that title has to go to LARA and in case of all times.. RICHARDS (haven't seen much of Sir DON so apologies for it). But Sachin's approach, commitment, drive, preparation, tremendous hard work and most important modesty is unique and it is an example of great HUMAN excellence at its purest form. Exceptional!!!

if you just want to go by ''stats'' and''records'' yes then sachin is the ''greatest'' but i assure you these ''records'' and ''stats'' have absolutely no ''substance''...:)
