Only Saha batted like a man possessed. No one else, even accomplished ones like Hussy,Badri,Dhoni,Mccllum,Hodge etc. could bat that freely. Given this slow conditions of the Chennai pitch, it appears only slightly better than the controversial Jaipur pitch and both pitches appear to be primarily of same nature. Then why so much ruckus has been raised on the Jaipur pitch ?After all it was not an unplayable pitch. While the jaipur pitch has been abandoned the two Finals are to be played on the similar slow Chennai pitch! If we go by all the matches played so far or by yesterday’s KTK-CSK match the Final or Pre-Final matches may also be low scoring, dull and boring matches. Are the Final matches in Chennai worth watching and spending a fortune on tickets, airfares etc? People should think twice before putting their money.
