everybody and everything deserves a chance to prove....stranger things have happened in the world...all golden age down the time had an ending....so also BCCI era will end...nothing is foe-ever...only change is constant..
.. its not only cricket that has made IPL popular; If that was the case then why ICL which was launched before IPL failed? IPL consist of cricket, entertainment, bollywood and above all a big money; IPL money structure is such that even the foreign cricket board gets 10% of signing amount for each of its player just by signing NOC for it;

ICl was failed because BCCI/ICC didn't approve players to participate. Those played was not considered for natipnal teams. Which meant hardly ant star players available. It was a league of second grade players, with no official stadiums or support. Then BCCI launched IPl wihch was better in every way.
People don't watch IPL to see bollywood heroines! They just add a bit of glamour while watching the game. It is t20, fast paced game that is the USP and everything else just adds a bit into it. Yes, everybody involved get lot of money, but basically it is the passion for the game that brings everyhting into the table. Try replicating such success in any other game in India and you know it.

Yeah, Srilankans really enjoyed your hospitality the last time they visited your country. Frtunately everybody realised what Pakistan is and no country will ever visit a lawless tribal region called Pakistan.

does sri lanka have the infrastructure or financial capacity to make its version of IPL successful..I doubt very much..But Pakistani players are finding out a way to play outside their country..for all others its just a waste of time..all the players thrown out of IPL will get a chance..it is like throw peanuts and get monkeys..
