Paul Valthaty should also be given an equal chance along with Ambati Raydu.

Both have consistently performed in this format (don't know about the long format just yet). But doesn't hurt to tryout.

T20 and ODi are different and success in T20 does not make it good for ODI

Resting seniors like Sachin,Sehwag,Dhoni,Zaheer,Bhajji etc.is good idea to groom youngsters.Batters , no problem but bowling certainly needs special attention. After Anil Kumble's retirement the 'spin' spread is looking thin and so youngsters need to be groomed for bothe spinners and pacers. Some of the probables can may be:
1.OPENERS;G GAMBHIR,PPATEL,P VALTHATY
2.M/ORDER:V KOHLI,R SHARMA,A RAYUDU, BADRINATH,MANOJ TIWARI,YUVI,RAINA
3.ALROUNDERS:R JADEJA,Y PATHAN,MANERIA
4.SPINNERS;RAHUL SHARMA,ASHWIN, B BHATT
5.PACERS;P KUMAR,V KUMAR,ISHARMA,MUNAF,ARVIND etc.
While Munaf has not bowled badly but his fitness and fielding prowess for 50 overs game need to be considered carefully. Giving chance to youngsters in place of Munaf may be preferred option.

how many chance he got to perform in IPL...most of the times match was out of reach when he came and in last match he was unlucky as wrong decision given...he has good record in 50 over domestic matches..if u dont want to pick dont pick him but why saying uthappa not doing well...srikkanth has personal grudge against him..as usual rohit sharma and murali vijay will be selected..these players are total failure yet getting chance again and again
last yr also he was unlucky when he was injured after IPL..
